One of the best (if not best) hamburger in SF. BOOM. There, I said it. It's a simple grind & well seasoned. With that said, you don't need to add anything else to this burger, you animal.
Pro tip: you can eat your food next door at the Tempest! The burger and chicken & waffles were great, but the stars of the show were the potato skins filled with pork belly, topped with quail egg!
they give enough garlic fries to feed you, your dogs, your dogs' friends, and your dogs' friends' dogs. dont feed dogs fries though, so find some friends to share with. oh, and their burger is yummy.
Very cool bar with pool Billard and TV. Interesting mixture of people here. Very cheap for SF.Unfortunately when I was there kitchen was closed, but I was allowed to order UberEATS:)
Had the chicken in waffle with the srirachasyrup and all I've gotta say is I'll be back. The food is great, the place smells awesome, and they're open super late.
Get the Broccoli and CheeseCroquettes - I don't even like broccoli that much but I loved this small dish. It comes in this amazing cauliflower / cheese sauce and resembles mac-n-cheese balls
It might be the best burger I have ever had... and I am big on burgers. Place feels shady and underground which actually gives it more of authentic rough feel. Super cool
This place is GREAT! The chicken sandwich is phenomenal - and they have a nice little rotating menu. From that we got the hush puppies...which as a girl from the South, I really enjoyed!
I always think garlic fries are a good idea and then end up disappointed and wishing I had gotten regular ones. Not here, these were the best I've ever had.
