- Great place, great food. Stick to the house specialties and curries. Order some fresh naan. Prices/portions are ok. Service is kind of slow due to demand. Great overall.
- Jeffrey ArnoldJanuary 9, 2018The chicken Tika mansala. I think I spelled that right. I love this place. Highly recommend. The garlic nan is another favorite of mine. The service is prompt and food is delicious.
- Allison YuJuly 29, 2015Affordable, great flavors, awesome underground cozy location. The naan, tandoori chicken, curry, and rice were all great. The spinach momos not so much. The skin was too tough and doughy
- Elif GumrukApril 2, 2015Very authentic and delicious indian food. They have delicious curries and naan. Anything else I've seen looked awesome as well. The setting is very intimate and authentic as well.
- Jonathan PayneMay 19, 2017The mo mo is a must. The lamb vindaloo was excellent. We will be back to try more items on the menu
- Melvin TaingMarch 25, 2012Stumbled into the place the first time w/ friends, unknowingly. Thank goodness we did! Good service & portions left me full w/ a bit leftover. The saffron-infused vodka drinks are worth a try!
- Perfect meal for 2-4: Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, Lamb Kofta and Garlic Naan. Best in town!
- FSeptember 4, 2012My @pandafoodie recommends: Spinach Momo's With Peanut, Sesame And Tomato Chutneys. Such a great vegetarian appetizer.
- Tim TrautmannOctober 15, 2017Fresh, delicious naan. All dishes were flavorful and tasty. Can’t wait to go again.
- Aaron WheelerJuly 21, 2017I'm not a fan of their Indian food but the interesting Tibetan dishes are way more fun! Solid vegetarian options too!
- Cason BangMarch 31, 2015Sometimes they miss things when busy, like making sure the silverware is clean or forget part of the order. Food is awesome enough to put up with it, though.
- BommyJanuary 6, 2016Dark and loud inside but food is solid. Get spinach momos and saag chana (spinach) with brown rice. Specialty coconut curry eggplant dish is deep-fried and greasy so avoid.
- The Lamb Kofta and the Palak Paneer are both very good. I have a hard time picking between them every visit. Best Indian Food on Capitol Hill.
- Razor XOctober 9, 2016Chicken Tikka Masala - 8/10... Lamb Vindaloo very very 🌶 - 5/10... Gulab Jamun - 8/10
- Sasa CvetojevicAugust 19, 2016Chicken tikka masala was one of the best ever.Lhasa Curry was great.Annapurna Curry was a little bit disappointing.Since many people praise Naan,I expected a much more, but it was too dry and tasteless
- Like Chicken Tikka Masalla? Anna Purna's is different than other Indian places - sweeter and less tomato-ee. If you want something more like other places, try the Lhassa Curry w/Chicken.
- Joanna C.April 1, 2011This restaurant tends to have sweeter curry/masala than the other indian restaurants i've tried- but i love the customer service! Garlic nan is heaven.
- Alexandra HOctober 30, 2015I've never been disappointed with a dish here and you can take mango lassi to go.
- Sandy LukowskiSeptember 16, 2015You must try the Jaipur Curry with chicken and order a side of Naan bread.
- Carolyn RotoloJune 28, 2016Amazing! Service was great, we received our food quickly even though it was busy. H
- Anthony FigueroaOctober 4, 2018If you like spice try the spicy chicken vondaloo. The spiciness sneaks up on you.
- Casey FlorescaOctober 8, 2010you MUST have the fried banana w/ coconut pineapple ice cream. it is the dessert of the century. probably my favorite dessert anywhere!
- Kathleen Barry JohnsonDecember 24, 2011The Goa Curry is incredible. I ordered it with fish, three stars. The flavor was amazing.
- m wSeptember 5, 2017Service was so shockingly horrendous that any redemptive quality of the food was completely obliterated. 15% gratuity added automatically. Suspect the score is gamed.
- KristenJuly 22, 2011Any of the cocktails with saffron-infused vodka are worth a try. I especially love the mango kashmir
- Charlie WilsonJanuary 16, 2013The masala is more sweet than most other places but is still very good.
- Ben WebsterJune 20, 2015Pud Thai was amazing - unlike any I've ever had. The spicy noodles and tender chicken are wrapped in a beautiful, eggy blanket. I called it my Pad Thai omelette food baby. 😍
- The ArtificialNovember 27, 2017If you love Indian food, you’ll enjoy Himalayan. And you owe yourself a visit to Annapurna. This basement restaurant has been richly decorated and the flavors match.…
