Gorgeous views, ample bars so you don't have to go back inside to grab drinks once you get settled. Great place to hang pre or post show at Webster Hall or Irving Plaza nearby.

One of Manhattan's best kept secrets ! This is a must to come here and do it an hour before the light fades. That way you get superb photos of day & night. Good and service superb. Good prices too

very atmospheric with great view to the skyscrapers around. may be a bit overcrouded though. the gin cucumber mojito is one of the best mojitos i've ever had.

Amazing view of city sights, $29 all you can eat brunch on Sundays! So many spots to sit at this rooftop bar and they have strong drinks!

230Fifth is the rooftop bar you wanna go to both winter and summertime. Drinks are pretty strong and the view over The Empire State Building is everything. Go for the winter igloos experience, superb!

Nice views. If you are here later at night, the line and tickets are actually for the nightclub. Just tell them you want a drink on the roof.

You should get here before sunset so you may see the view at daytime, in the evening and the magnificent sunset. Very crowded place. Definitely worth to go.

Scenic view of the Empire State Building. During summer try coming before 7pm as rooftop gets very crowded. Do try their cucumber mojito! They have light snacks available too.

Frosé is the way to imbibe for a super chill. Great views & cozy spaces at the rooftop, lounge below. Full food menu and full bar up and down. Love the fish & chips, kale salad, and margherita pizza

Cold weather rooftop fun. The amazing view of the Empire and the red Snuggies make it a perfect spot for a ton of selfies. The bar line goes fast and they have Brooklyn Lager on tap. Do it!

The hummus is absolutely amazing! Try the cocktails :) you won't be disappointed! Great views and prices are decent for the location! :) favorite place in NYC to bring friends and family to visit!

If you come here during Friday or Saturday primetime, get ready for popped collars and pick-up artists. Pretentious as hell. But the views and decor can't be beat, so come for a 5-8p cocktail instead.

Cocktails in cool places location...? Do it once. The views are good but obscenely crowded for no reason given the space, poor service, blah cocktails. Come for 5, snap a pic, go somewhere better. ✌️

The rooftop is a great oasis. Similar to lots of spots but great as it is. Open air, plenty of seating, solid views and a lounge space inside if you want it.

No cover. Bartenders are generous with the pours. Heated lamps and igloos make the rooftop comfortable in the winter. They also provide robes for outside.

I was in a business trip and we got team building here. Cocktails and food were just okay but these magnificent views... Must visit. It lets you feel NYC.

One of the biggest rooftop bars with one the very best views of Midtown. Decor could be updated - it has the right amount of cheesiness (IMHO!). Think old-town Vegas meets NYC circa 1980.

Huge outdoor seating area, with a self-service bar. The Empire State building and other building around are nicely lit at night. Great for groups. Decently priced drinks.

If you are a tourist, do not leave NYC without seeing excellent view of this rooftop, don’t be disturbed by the pool in the main entrance, go directly upstairs to smoke with your funny named cocktail.

Located so close to Flatiron, perfect for grabbing a cocktail after work and meeting many locals as well as foreigners. One of the top views of Midtown. Grab their red cloth of feeling chilly outside

Coming from Miami, I was shocked at the beer prices, especially for non micro brewery beer. Regardless the ambiance is great, the view amazing, stellas at $8.

This place is awesome until 9pm sharp, when the vibe turns from "oh yeah sit wherever and enjoy snuggies under the heatlamps" to "fuck you, give us $500 or freeze."

Beautiful spacious rooftop. After 930 you have to start buying bottles. If you don't they won't let you stay and tell you someone else bought your table and kick you out.
