- Much needed improvements, befitting of a city are under way at last. The station is just across from the bus interchange and soon will include a Midland Metro stop directly outside.Upvoted Sep 19
- Stephen HinesJuly 27, 2013First class lounge is open on weekends. I just watched station staff remove the opening hours stuck to the glass that said closed sat & sun. Apparently that changed over a year ago and nobody noticed!
- Brilliant first class lounge - empty mid-afternoon on weekday well stocked very spacious loads of glossy mags lots of sofas
- A lot better than it used to be. Fairly quiet, fast express train to Euston - bostin'!
- The Pumpkin cafe on platform 2/3 is always quieter than the one near the entrance but the WHSmith's branch is on Platform 1.
- My most used station and the easiest to navigate I find
- If ever there was a station in need of a renovation, it's Wolverhampton
- Faster to get to Wolverhampton by train from Birmingham compared to the Midland Metro! A bus interchange is nearby.
- In-Hye LJuly 11, 2013This is NOT a 24 hour station. Keep that in mind when buying tickets! Free wi-if via The Cloud.
- Steph ReveleyAugust 14, 2011Go through the subway turn right, keep going till you run into the epic little pub, good place to chill if your waiting for a connection
- carl plantMay 16, 2011Platform 5 is on the same side as platform 1 just look to your right with the track in front of you
- Syed RizviDecember 20, 2011My home station, good thing you will get trains for Birmingham and London Euston every 10 15 mins
- Easier to change here than at Bham New Street. Check with your booking agent/office.
- Now has padded seats on most platforms.that is as far as wolves council could stretch for refurbishment!
- Sameen FaroukSeptember 4, 2010The cafe on platforms 2+3 is incredibly warm to sit in on a cold day. Strongly recommend it
- E PriceJune 3, 2014I don't dislike the station, but I really think they could make it easier to find your connecting train. Not enough boards.
- Meli HSeptember 13, 2010Waiting room on platform five has lots of seats and the ladies loo ust down from it were unexpectedly clean on a Sunday night!
- Sam DolanJuly 7, 2011This train station must be what Thomas the tank engine envisages hell might be like.
- Chris DomroeseJuly 15, 2012Not as bad as eryone says, lady behind counter was nice and friendly when I had some questions. Heading back to London euston now.
- Unfortunately the station is in the same division as the team
- Helen GroundsSeptember 4, 2011It's not great but way better than Coventry station. That place is depressing!
- platform 2/3 doesn't have toilets however 1 and 4 have free toilets :P
- It's not as bad as everybody says, it is a train station after all.
- Good luck finding the platform numbers, this place is a mess.
- Stay away from the gents, looks and smells like a dodgy sauna
- Never seen a worse railway station cafe. Horrible staff too.
- Depressing, dirty and smelly. Avoid at all costs. Or decontaminate when you leave!
- Worst station I've ever come across, just like the city, its a hell hole
