- Love it! Been a regular of Gumbo Bros since their days at Urban Eats in Herald Square & Columbus Circle! The gumbos (seafood, chicken/sausage, And vegetarian) are ALL amazing! PO Boys = delicious too!
- Rob FitzhenryJanuary 25, 2017Ordered the small chicken and sausage gumbo...took home and was delicious and still hot 20 minutes later! Highly recommend. Great service, too.
- Greig RoselliFebruary 6, 2017A comparable place for po'boys and Zapp's potato chips is Cheeky's in the Lower East Side; however, Gumbo Bros has a taste monopoly on gumbo. Tip:Mix the potato salad with the chicken/andouille gumbo.
- Dane BJuly 12, 2017Been a while since I've been to NOLA, so I can't make a direct po'boy comparison. But my roast beef sammy was pretty damn tasty. Will definitely be back to try the gumbo!
- Alison GreshamMay 23, 2019I’m from Nola (New Orleans) area so take it from me - this place is good. Try the roast beef poboy and chicken and sausage gumbo. Potato salad also fantastic.
- Percy HolmesOctober 14, 2018It doesn't matter what you get here. I'm a bit partial to everything seafood but it's all good. Do yourself a favor and get some banana pudding to go. Delish
- Lisa RodriguezJune 23, 2019Delicious gumbo- I prefer the chicken and sausage gumbo to the seafood- it seemed to have more flavors layered in. The banana pudding was also delicious! Nice guys too!
- Michael HaaralaMarch 26, 2017Far and away the BEST gumbo in the city -- and the po' boy bread is shipped fresh from NOLA! Go with a friend and try everything (don't forget some Zapps)!
- José DucósMay 21, 2017The Chicken and Sausage gumbo is delicious enough to warrant a visit for us with shellfish allergies. Just the right amount of heat and packed with flavor.
- Hailey CaldwellJune 1, 2017THE best gumbo and pivots in New York. Coming from a Louisianan, it doesn't get more authentic than this.
- Christian LawsonMarch 6, 2017Fantastic Po' Boys! Add Fried Pickles, Braised Greens and Potato Salad on the side! Loved it.
- Loving the roast beef po' boy - the rest of the menu is solid too!
- Anything Abita is a must! This is the closest I've found to Nola's oyster po'boys. Kudos for the guys for flying in the proper bread. That's key! Seafood gumbo was also amazing.
- Ahyana GuerraAugust 15, 2017Shrimp P'boy hits the spot and the rose champagne isn't too bad either!!
- Mary LyonsMay 6, 2018Both seafood and chicken & sausage gumbo were very salty. Fried shrimp po’ boy was nothing special.
