- Therran OliphantJune 9, 2015This is a legitimately cool spot. Desirable but not pretentious and a plethora of goodies to satisfy your needs - coffee, tea, food, beer, wine, décor and chill people. This spot is T.O. approved.
- Desirée MacDonaldJune 9, 2015Fantastic spot to grab a drink and quick bite to eat. Order from the counter + pay — they'll serve to your seat. Great concept for those on the go that still want a great sit-down meal!
- Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon is my go-to every time. Pair that with sweet potato fries or a cup of some of the better gumbo in the city, and you've got yourself a meal.
- Classic hangout and munch spot with Village feel. I miss the original from Carmine St where they used to do Dog Paw coffee art in the lattes, though. Staff always friendly.
- Cagla IcacanFebruary 20, 2018Literally they have everything! If you're not quite sure what you wanna get to drink or eat, this is "the place". Well, as a start try grilled cheese & apple cider. 🤗
- Free refills... even to go! Just bring your mug to the counter and tell 'em you want a roadie. They'll give you a new coffee in a to-go cup.
- Great for breakfast, brunch, or a homey comfort-food meal any time. Gets crowded, but everything is delish and so it is worth the wait. Dog-friendly outside during warmer months.
- Amy ChenJuly 12, 2015This location felt like a rustic farmhouse. It's probably more of a location for friends rather than a date, but the food was delicious. I got the baja fish tacos which were cooked perfectly.
- Lydia VanWormerJanuary 13, 2016Great food and atmosphere. We had the salmon avocado plate and beet goat cheese dip - both did not disappoint. Will definitely return and recommend.
- CompassMay 20, 2014Seat yourself at the Nolita offshoot of Grey Dog, where the burgers are divine and the fries are crisped to perfection. For brunch or happy hour, this unassuming coffee shop is loved by locals.
- Rom917August 7, 2014Egg wrap, eggs over easy, avocado, cheddar. No chips or potatoes, just a side of broccoli + a lot of spicy sauce! And the lovely Zazie to take your order! Heaven.
- Cole KennedyJune 5, 2015The Philly Cheesesteak wrap is delicious and super filling. The cheese is delightfully gooey and the sautéed onions are perfect. The fries are just okay.
- Don't miss the seasonal menu. Buffalo turkey mini meatballs were on point! And the roasted vegetables were no slouches either. Really though you can't go wrong with any type of meatball here.
- Great place for a business meeting. Noise level is just right, food is good but not too expensive, casual enough for a tshirt but I've been in a suit, too.
- So many options on the menu! Philly cheesesteak is great. Still many things on the menu that I look forward to trying
- Loved the avocado & goat cheese sandwich! The celery was a little surprising but gave it a nice crunch. Sweet potato fries were delicious.
- Leah W.October 18, 2013Perfect for a trendy but casual night out. Gives you a little country feel in a big city. Tip: get the cobb salad with green goddess dressing instead of bleu cheese!
- Gluttony NYCFebruary 14, 2017Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon has us thinking... when does a grilled cheese stop being a grilled cheese and start being a melt? Either way, we're stuffed!
- Jane van SchaardenburgDecember 13, 2021Atmosphere. A very favorite for people who grew up on Manhattan. Really good food for price, with a selection that changes with the times.
- Ronja ErbesthApril 20, 2014The Caesar sallad and quesedillas is the best. Love the atmosphere and the wierd music. Makes me feel like a total outsider. Retro
- Matthew CaldecuttFebruary 25, 2017Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon was a great light lunch. I only wish that I didn't have to get a side -- fries or salad -- with it.
- TimelessnomadDecember 22, 2015Stop in if your in the area. Great for breakfast or lunch. Chai tea was not from a mix which was very nice. Almond and soy milk available.
- John BastonMarch 16, 2013Huge portions! The smoothies are very good. The best pecan pie I've ever had, no joke! Great atmosphere, almost like a ski lodge.
- My favorite thing to do here is to snag the outside seats on a weekend afternoon when wine bottles are half price and people watch.
- Evan ChenSeptember 2, 2014I love the atmosphere here! Try their sandwhiches, such as the grilled chicken with pesto and mozzarella and roasted tomatoes!
- Try a half sandwich and the soup for a great lunch. Pricey but worth it for a great lunch meeting spot in soho
- When getting a grilled cheese here, you need to pick both bread and cheese. It makes for a difficult order. I recommend olive bread and swiss cheese. And a soup, to boot.
- Colin LeeJuly 18, 2016Grilled cheese is delicious (has avocado in it!). Large space for working. Good concept of ordering at the bar and waiting for your food.
- Get the breakfast quesadilla ANY TIME. One of the small set of breakfast items they make all day, but one is all you need when it's a frickin' breakfast quesadilla.
- Get the Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. And come before 6:30pm (not 7pm!) for half-off bottles of wine
- Paige COctober 17, 2018Delicious grilled cheese! Definitely would come back for coffee. It was really crowded after work.
- Good spot on the lower east side. Casual. Go with the latte and the famous croissant egg sandwich or the Grey Dog breakfast
- Breakfast is delicious here! Ask for jam if you get toast... It's not your average jar kind!
- Come here for breakfast! Great morning vibe, it's open early, and the grey dog breakfast is guaranteed to make your day - the french toast that comes with it is delicious!
- I want the food to be better here, but I still love the place for the selection, ambiance, and half price beer and wine at happy hour (6-7?)
- N86 - GeminiNovember 26, 2017Love the atmosphere, I tried the pancakes was 5/10 and the French toast was 7/10 and a good coffee.
- My new go to when I am not feeling Parm. The Mac n Cheese is great as is the pressed roast beef with au jus! This place has become my company's unofficial cafeteria (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Quality American comfort food. Well-made Bloody Mary's and mulled wine to help it go down easily.
- Arnaud VallatMay 9, 2014Really great place, with a great playlist. Oh and the food is really tasty! Yeah you should definitely give it a try!!
- Peter EfstathiouOctober 29, 2015Great variety, cool deco and a delicious avocado and salmon salad. 😄
- Breakfast quesadillas are super good. 4 big pieces is a bit too much. You could probably split with a friend.
- Kevin LillyJanuary 20, 2016The food and atmosphere is outstanding... Ordered the avocado and goat cheese sandwich with the chicken and meatball soup
- BlondEATSJanuary 1, 2018It’s obvious as soon as you walk in why this restaurant is so successful. Great food, booze, and atmosphere
- It's all about the breakfast sammie, man. Comes with home fries AND it's on a croissant?! Sold.
- Honghui YuNovember 5, 2017Popular place for brunch in NoLIta. None of their dishes are especially exciting but will satisfy a craving for eggs and bacon for sure.
- seared tuna tacos are delicious and with 3 on the plate make for a really hearty lunch option.
- When I don't know what I want for lunch, I usually just want the #7 turkey & brie on 9 grain bread.
- yes the sandwiches are impressive but the baja fish tacos are like an island getaway in the center of soho
- WARNING: no need for personal brownies. highly recommend sharing.
