- Philadelphia MagazineJanuary 3, 2012Imagine Ridley Scott directing a happy hour for beer snobs, cocktail historians, Jazz Age hep cats and righteous old drunks. It’s one of the strangest and most amazing places to drink at in Philly.
- Stacy RileyJuly 28, 2013Food, yummy. Service, pleasant and prompt. Beef... The website says music starts at 9:30, so we made an 8 pm reservation. Music doesn't start til 10, so now we have to walk around and kill time. Boo.

- arielle hellerNovember 24, 2012This is an awesome dinner option. Venison, short rib, skate - it's all good! Have the tasting plate on the meat, 3 cheeses and the pickled saffron duck egg.
- Joe PerryAugust 6, 2014When the Liquor Control Board isn't shutting it down, it's an incredible place for libations. Unreal draft list that keeps changing and the cocktails, holy smokes, the cocktails.

- HomeSpeakeasyFebruary 3, 2012The rustic decor and occasional ragtime piano player go great with Phoebe Esmon's cocktail creations at Farmers' Cabinet. They've even got two bars: beer to the left, cocktails to the right!
- Best beer list in the north east, killer cocktails and the most extensive selection of game in the city. All in a frontier saloon. Try the elk and the holland fog

- James ValleyJuly 28, 2013This place is totally unique. The house band is great! Check out the food, vibe, and Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society!
- Great beer and cocktails. The lobster and crab ceviche is a little heavy on the ginger, but everything else is fabulous. Try the cheese fondue - it's incredible.
- Barrels as tables is a really nice ambience piece. Very friendly staff. Superb draft list.
- Doug BargApril 6, 2011Perhaps the most most unique and exciting drinking/dining spot in Philly. Refreshingly authentic and non-theatrical. Unusual but accessible menu.
- bill biskupApril 16, 2011Great cheese and meat board selections. The root chips were a waste better off to buy a bag at Wawa. The only down note to an otherwise great experience.
- bill biskupApril 16, 2011The beer list is divided into taste categories. The staff is also very knowledgeable and made great pairing recommendations.
- Get a sour beer on tap and order a cheese plate. The cheese monger knows his stuff.
