- James CDecember 8, 2014Nice place for an event. Cookie takedown was good. No egg nog like was advertised. Very disappointed.
- If your are going to a seated event here get here at least an hour before whatever time is printed on the tickets. Never enough seats and it's no fun watching comedy standing.
- Meredith PharisFebruary 19, 2014You must bring your ID with you in order to enter, including for npr shows.... Definitely forgot mine :(
- get there early, get a dub pie and beer before the show. ms pacman & photo booth too. fun date place.
- Jeff JenkinsFebruary 13, 2013If you're showing up for the secret science club get there by 6:45 or 7 to get a seat
- If you are going here to a seated show bring your own cushions. You won't be sorry.
- AskMenFebruary 8, 2010The Bell House is known for rising to the occasion: Sometimes that occasion is bacon; sometimes it’s chili; yet other times it is cookies. Check it out.
- Kathryn HymesAugust 21, 2014Watch NPR's trivia show Ask Me Another over beers for a raucous good time. Try not to hang from the chandeliers.
- sometimes it feels like my living room. my really big living room with a bar and people and sometimes dancing.
- Great venue. Love the Pinkerton drink at the front bar and the bartenders in the backroom mix a mean greyhound. Awesome derby party.
- Crunch GymAugust 30, 2010Did you know you can burn up to 500 calories an hour just by dancing? So get your groove on to your favorite DJ in this BK hot spot.
- great place to hang out late on a weeknight, super friendly and quiet there
- Manda ShettletonFebruary 13, 2012Sing alongs are as magical and amusing as you might think so get your butt over here!
- Keep tabs on when Ask Me Another is taping. Great, funny new NPR show.
- Great music venue... but better yet, the scene of some of the quirkier Brooklyn events (scavenger hunt, Lamb Takedown, etc).
- Farrar, Straus & GirouxSeptember 11, 2012Meet astrobiologist Caleb Scharf on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 8:00 PM as he reads from his new book Gravity's Engines. Read more
- Get here EARLY if you're seeing a comedy show or you'll be stuck standing
- Brian MasefieldDecember 19, 2015Poorly managed door/entrance for shows. Two separate occasions, two different disasters with ticket handling, communication, and host/hostesses at door.
- Jay LiquoriNovember 17, 2013Coat check: Waste of time. Bartenders: not enough. Location: mildly annoying. People: better than the city.
