- As a Ukrainian I confirm that this place is authentic. Delicious! Highly recommended to feel Ukrainian culture and fall in love with Ukr cuisine. The only thing - why no one speaks Ukrainian here? :(
- Monica SumaJanuary 20, 2014Food is delicious, except for the Kiev cake. Prices are too high. $10 for a small soup. But amazing traditional decor, irreproachable service and great touch w/ the complimentary horseradish vodka!
- Katie LarusseDecember 7, 2015Probably the best Russian / Ukranian food in Manhattan. Amazing cabbage rolls, loved the beef tongue with buckwheat. Service is super friendly. Wasn't particularly fan of the interior design though.
- Hanna KogutNovember 3, 2013Love it! Love it! Love it! Food is amazing, service is great. Must check a second floor private dinning room in west Ukrainian decoration style. Shot "na konya" nicely surprised;)
- Their honey cake is the bomb! Grandma's cutlets were really good too. Orange infused vodka is amazing. Beware of the horseradish infused vodka (hint: it burns).
- JessicaOctober 13, 2014This might be my favorite place in the city. Legit Ukrainian food and friendly staff...and of course, Okean Elzy playing! Budmo!
- Jenny JMay 24, 2016Much better food than I expected! Very traditional and hearty. Watch out for the horseradish vodka they send you out the door! It will hit you real good.
- Dustin StewartApril 11, 2016Food was very good and worth the trip, but the space feels surprisingly tourist-trappy, and the servers tried to upsell every single thing.
- Ryan LandrySeptember 7, 2014Even if you are positive you don't like cabbage rolls, you should try the cabbage rolls.
- Amazing place! Feels like home:) best borsch in NYC! Definitely recommend this place!
- AntonioMarch 8, 2016Amazing food, atmosphere and service. I had the beef stew and it was insanely good.
- Conch VJanuary 19, 2014Amazing Borsch, excellent fresh fish and dumplings, the russian mustard is to die for !
- Ann PanDecember 10, 2014Free shot when you check in on Yelp. Another free shot when you exit the restaurant!
- prince of ArroganceMay 11, 2014The vodka was great and excellent service. The server was very pretty
- Korgel BorbelschnitzMarch 21, 2015Having been in Ukraine manny time I vouch for authenticness. Good place.
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzDecember 29, 2014Avoid the olivie salad, try tongue, Salo platter, kholodez and cutlets. The fish is ok but not impressive. House lemon kvas is interesting.
