Six Flags Over Texas is probably the least fun Six Flags park- I would only suggest in investing in the season pass if you can visit parks in other states (Six Flags Magic Mountain is the best).

Looking for a quiet place to relax and take in the scenery? In between Yosemite’s Gold River Adventure and the Chaparral Cars, you’ll find a pathway that leads to a secluded scenery overlook!

Check out the all new Texas Giant! The first drop is 79 degrees!! Just make sure to take everything out of your pockets and leave it on the dock or with a non-rider because it WILL fall out.

First time going since I have been in Dallas. Granted it was a company event but I had an awesome time. Dress comfortable. Bring snacks and water as prices are not all that friendly.

I love that you can pay monthly for a season pass. The best time to go is when kids are still in school! Like early may. No lines!! I went like 5 times in less that 2 weeks.

During the summer months, get the Six Flags Cup so you can refill with soda all day on the day you go. It is also used to get water as well to stay hydrated and that is unlimited as well.

Great amusement park right in Dallas. They have some great coasters, good shows, and lots of fun things for the kids. Mr. freeze and the Texas Giant are the best!

New Texas Giant = excellent wood coaster, super fun. Sky Screamer - LOVE the height of the swings!! 24 stories of drop on the Titan & 86mph = recipe for a good time.

Look for tickets online on a computer for the best general admission ticket prices! Using mobile devices to buy tickets takes you to a different portal with different (and more expensive) pricing.

And for an entire day trip worth of excitement, Six Flags over Texas can’t be beat. After all, it was the first true theme park in America, and it’s still the only place you can get “pink thing.”

For season pass tickets you no longer get picture ID instead now they code in your finger print into the pass. You must scan your finger print each time you go.

Come equipped with water or a reusable water bottle. Especially during the summer. My fiancé and I spent atleast $20 on water for the two of us throughout the day.

Apply sunscreen at home \ hotel before leaving to go to the park. That first application should be thorough and applying it in privacy will let you get the spots you don't want to rub in public.

HaHaHaHa! I just realized I got punked by the walking cotton candy sales guy. He told me $4 and earlier told my wife $3. I asked later, it's $3. Watch the vendors. They might be crooks. :-)
