- Wow. At some point the airport actually got nice. New terminal and rental car facility are great.
- Most cabs either do not take credit card payments or do so only after a lot of grumbling. Come prepared with cash!
- SJC is outgrowing itself again. Give yourself maximum time for inept TSA agents to stare at your bags.
- TSA is particularly congested at SJC, give yourself extra time.
- For $2 you can avoid the hassle and traffic of the arrival curb.
- I love not having to hunt around for power outlets... They're connected to the chairs!
- Don't forget to hit up In & Out - located less than a mile away!
- If you are in terminal A and are getting a rental head down to the ticket counter and catch the bus there.

- Rental Cars are super easy when flying into or out of Terminal B
- Free cell phone parking area on airport parkway is so convenient! Very close to both terminals and not many cars!
- Peet's Coffee and Tea is the best. They have yummy chocolate croissants.

- Rental car Short cut: Don't follow Ground Transportation Signs~ as soon as you walk through the security exit veer left to Ticketing escalator. Go downstairs and walk outside to bus stop where Rental
- Content MagazineDecember 18, 2011Free WiFi. I guess I basically expect there to be free wifi everywhere, but at the very least, in airports! SJC caters to the productive business traveler and the internet dependent traveler alike.
- Abhishek BanthiaAugust 17, 2019Terminals are pretty far from each other. Make sure you tell your Uber/Lyft drivers the right terminals to avoid confusion.
- The convenient Starbucks and Peets are pretty handy.
- Very easy airport to fly in and out of even with rental car. Alway pick over SFO.
- Show up early and take the time to look at the new art! Above baggage claim there's an giant interactive sculpture!

- Pet Relief Area24 hrs., outside Terminal A and B, north of ticketing area
- They changed the official name to “San José Mineta International Airport” but it’s still SJC.
- The Starbucks at the exit usually has no lines, but inside the terminals they are long
- Nice sized airport! All that's missing is a direct flight to Europe
- Term. B: nice, sleek, simple, with good food choices for a medium airport. Starbucks & Pete's upstairs.
- If parking at Terminal A economy lot, don't get on the shuttle at stop 1 if you can avoid it. Long ride around the horn.
- Free wifi is always a plus here. Curb to gate is short as well.
