- Really great place to get a beverage and sit down to work for a bit. Great music, lots of light, and great seating options.
- The Corcoran GroupOctober 1, 2010The best place in the slope to sit, work and drink coffee in the slope. It’s also a great bar and definitely try any variation of the Stuffed Jacket Potato.
- This is NOT a good place to get work done or hang out in general. The music is consistently super LOUD. Get it to go!
- John ChidiacMay 15, 2011Their espresso is the best in the neighborhood. If you get a cortado, be careful not to burn your fingers! The glass of the tumblers they are served in is thin!
- Serious EatsApril 22, 2013It's just the cozy place to stop for a balanced shot of espresso or a cool iced anything.
- This is a good spot to get some work done away from office/home. Wifi always works, which isn't always the case at coffee shops and eateries.
- Ask for a stamp card. The 11th drink is free! Sipping on my 1st free iced coffee!
- Varun ShettyJanuary 20, 2014The sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit (with strawberry jam) is wonderful.
- The food here is generally quite good, though you might have to wait a while if ordering a sandwich.
- ham and cheese croissant is overpriced considering that a fresh egg sandwich is half the price. but morning staff is awesome
- 🐙 Thiago DuarteJuly 5, 2012cool place, kind staff, good coffee but the wifi (crappy WEP encryption) didn't work on my computer, so i had to move to another place to work :(
- Northern Spy Food CoMay 6, 2012Surprisingly for the no-man's land of 4th Ave, a really really well made capuccino.
- Stephen LevinsonSeptember 10, 2011This used to be the coziest couch around, until they remodeled and replaced comfort with industrial steel. Guess they didn't want customers lingering all day?
- Whoever says the staff is unfriendly might be crazy; the staff here is always very pleasant with me.
- Possibly the unfriendliest coffee shop staff in the world.
- Jason HartleyJanuary 4, 2012The most expensive lattes in the neighborhood at $5, but nice and strong.
- Sujan HongJune 30, 2010Iced americano is top notch. $4.25 for a tiny ham and cheese croissant is whack.
- Just left root hill. Person at counter seemed put out at the thought of having to serve me. Coffee and muffin were both terrible.
