    Panning for gold? Make sure they show u how to use the ridges! Really nice older gentleman who taught us how to 'pan' properly. The other two girls working...totally left key information out!

    Our 9 yo girl and 7yo boy enjoyed panning and our girl even found 2 tiny bits. Cool history and mine. Takes maybe 1-2 hours total.

    i've taken friend's here when they come from out of town. it's a decent "park" and museum on a nice hot day. avoid it when it's cold and dank. good for kid's 6-12 Read more
