- Jocelyn LeavittJuly 23, 2017Great ambiance. Great to sit outside w a stroller and order cafe au laits in bowls, french style. Been in the neighborhood for decades. French toast is great. I would not order the eggs benedict again
- Show up early morning, grab an almond croissant. There are few things in life worth waking up early for, this is one of them.
- Gina BucknerMarch 18, 2016Croque Madam, Fries, delicious pastries! (But they will charge you $7 for still water, which I didn't realize until I got the check)
- Journo GirlFebruary 7, 2014Here for lunch @ 1p on a Fri. Only 1 waiter attending to about 6 tables. Place smells delicious. Cute decor. Cauliflower soup was light & delicious. #FoodNYC #BrooklynEats
- Oliver DelgadoSeptember 30, 2018For a place that devotes so much counter space to baked goods, their croissants taste incredibly stale. There are better options in the neighborhood (e.g. Bien Cuit).
- Steve LeVineSeptember 1, 2010Great little French bistro. The Moules Frites were great- mussels perfect and crisp shoe-string frites. Very friendly staff. Be aware- only cash or Amex- no other cards.
- Journo GirlFebruary 7, 2014Slow lunch service- only 1 waiter. Order ASAP. The salmon was soft & flavorful. The bun on the burger was over toasted but the meat @Medium well was tender. Frites were crispy & not enough :-)
- Oh my gosh order the French press. Best coffee I've had in a great while.
- Carole SentucqMay 31, 2014tables outside here you can enjoy the sun until late! Great. Pastries look yummy
- Lindsey AdlerMarch 19, 2013Best kept secret for dinner in Carroll Gardens. Really authentic French Provencal food.
- F. BastardSeptember 12, 2015The chocolate almond croissants are magnificent, but they're not for the faint of heart. Skip the coffee.
- Neal MannSeptember 1, 2012French toast is great, comes with fruit compote but well worth adding a side of bacon.
- Colleen HoranFebruary 10, 2012Really great soups and pastries. The napoleon is wonderful and fresh, I have had better macarons though.
- AshleyJuly 18, 2015Good food, horrendous service. What should've been a 45-hour dinner, it went 2+. I honestly felt bad for the girl because she was struggling so badly. Management should've been on top of that.
- Claire SilversteinOctober 6, 2018Horrible experience. Server was slow and extremely rude. Food was bland and overpriced. They charged $14 for water. So many better restaurants in the area - avoid this one!!
- KateMay 15, 2015The place has really dropped in terms of quality. The cold cuts were old and not very high quality, my soup was watery and the Branzino was not very fresh and a bit slimy.
- The steak frites, actually just one strip of steak has superb flavor, that is if you take your temperatrure at medium.
- Eat to BlogJune 3, 2010The napoleon was rich but not too heavy, and a great treat on a warm day. Read more
- Erica PascualDecember 25, 2012Got brunch on day before Christmas. Super busy meant slow service. Latte was terrible. Quiche was a bit bland and crust was soggy. Staff wasn't too friendly, leaning on the rude side.
- Enrique SaadMay 31, 2014Be careful, they add the tip to your check without your consent, and if you complain they go crazy and really rude.
- Any of the chocolate mousse related items are a sure bet
- LaurenJuly 20, 2014The food here could not be more mediocre if everything was smothered in Jason Mraz sauce.
