The perfect atmosphere for brunch, and the food is delicious! The "gobble-cado" sandwich is one of my favorites. The cheddar jalapeño grits are a must have.

We can't get enough of the build-your-own-biscuit breakfast sandwiches to cure our weekend hangovers. Order what we order: egg, sausage, cheese and red eye gravy.

Here for brunch? The fried chicken sandwich is a must. The BLT was meh, but the cinnamon donut made up for it. Drinks are poured with a heavy hand, especially the Bloody Mary's.

The biscuits are amazing, whether alone with jam or as part of a bfast sandwich. Fried chicken sandwich is awesome. Shrimp and grits were v gravy heavy. Put the aardvark sauce on EVERYTHING.

It's a scene for dinner, so come for a late breakfast or lunch. Lots of light and airy upstairs surroundings make this urban diner a welcome edition to the Bowery. Healthy fun sandwiches are the TOPS!

My favorite light breakfast here is the muesli topped with sunflower seeds, grapefruit, grapes, and berries. Perfection!! Best brunch in the area (besides Freemans down the street, of course!)

Gobblecado. It's a sandwich of smoked turkey with creamy avocado and a chili mayo that does a great job of perking up those mild flavors; Cotija cheese adds the perfect salty bite.

This is one of my go-to "cute" places. Between the build-a-biscuit, pastry case, Stumptown Roasters coffee, and Southern-inspired menu, I end up here a lot. Try the grits if you're really hungry.

I can vouch for their cheeseburger. The grass-fed burger was medium-rare perfection. Word of caution: their classic Bloody Mary is VERY spicy (but delicious).

Ask for the special burger. It's not on the menu, but it's delicious and heaped with bacon. Oh, and the fries get swapped out for some ridiculously good homemade tater tots.

my favorite place in the city. Here's what you need to do. 1) order the shrimp + grits (wow!), 2) order the La Chouffe beer (seasonal and awesome), 3) build a biscuit (bacon + pepperjack). Game over!

The "Blonde Toddy" with gin and orange & ginger marmalade is incredible. If you have a sweet tooth checkout the "Hot Buttered Scotch" it's a salted caramel explosion in your mouth.

Sit upstairs at dinner and order the steak and a glass of red wine with your best friend. When the waiter comes by and asks if you want dessert, laugh and say OF COURSE WE OBVIOUSLY WANT THE DESSERT.

Cheddar jalapeño grits + kale are great starters. For a hungry day get the shrimp and grits. Otherwise the tuna tartare and quinoa salad are lighter dishes.
