- Dan RoselliFebruary 5, 2010There's a nice Amtrack passanger seating area in the middle which is better then sitting out with the crowds.
- Good luck trying to get a refund from the MTA. They charge $10 for refunds. Don't they rake in enough with their on board entrapment penalties and making city tickets valid forone day only? Bastards.
- Need a drink? Head to Tracks!! Walk all the way down by the big board and it's in the corner next to McDonalds.
- If someone offers to get you a cab, it's a scam. Get in line outside or get your own. Just saw a dude get griftted
- They play sleepy music. Trying to stay awake to catch a train after a day of work. Good choice..
- Need I say more than a slice is always nice at Caruso's
- Please don't stand directly in front of the departure monitors. Everyone else needs to see, too.
- Don't wait in the long lines at the ticket window. Go to the machines up the stairs between tracks 2 and 3.
- Direct service from Penn to the Port Jeff stations. No need to change at Jamaica.
- You don't need to put your beers in a bag.. Be proud of your alcoholism!
- They have trains that go almost anywhere on long island! Good price and great service. I would use again.
- Get there an hour before if you have to buy your ticket at the counter - 30 mins before if you have it or can use the quicktrak.

- The best bagels in the morning are at zaro's near NJ transit
- No information to escalators or elevators. Needs to be upgraded.
- Cheapest Beer is in K-Mart. There is a cooler right at check-out.
- Ladies room by the LIRR waiting area surprisingly clean and the line moves quickly.
- Just keep walking. Try not to shake anyone's hand if you don't want to donate any money..

- Try to use your credit/debit card when buying a train ticket. Otherwise homeless people will come up to you and ask for money when it leaves the ticket machine.
- Please don't hit me with your giant piece of luggage without apologizing. Also, buy a scone.
- Great if you want to play the human version of Frogger
- Be prepared for the mob rush to the train. Tracks generally don't get posted until about 5 minutes prior to train departure.
- Bring ear plugs, so you won't get annoyed with people's early morning conversations!
