This is our favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The tapas beats most in Barcelona. We were there for nearly two weeks, and only found two restaurants with tapas as good as Modesto.

Great selection of Spanish wines-tell the server what you like and let him/her choose for you-they are quite knowledgable. Love the boquerones, pulpo, atun, and bunuelos. Get pudin de pan for dessert!

The chorizo y membrillo pintxo was awesome. Same with the Pan con tomate, queso and serrano ham. Tortilla espanola was good, not as eggy as some traditional tortillas but still pretty good!
