- Zack DavenportAugust 12, 2014Seriously some of the best food I've had in LIC. The steak with espresso marinade melts in your mouth. The sangria is amazing. For dessert, the coconut flan takes the meal to another level. Amazing.
- Percy HolmesMarch 3, 2019Medera Cuban Grill has great cocktails and the food is out of site!! I highly recommend making Medera Cuban Grill a priority on your must try list.
- ChelseaJuly 26, 2012I love this place! Waiters are friendly! Try the stuffed plantains, I had it with picadillo (ground beef). Yuca fries w/ garlic were interesting, and if you go for brunch, try the Cuban French Toast.
- Diego RamirezAugust 18, 2013Delicious meal. Pork with green plantain and sweet plantain on bottom with black beans and rice. Very good meal
- Rose CJuly 31, 2014The Madera Steak with Moro was absolutely delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and service was great.
- Amit K.April 2, 2013Nice place, good food, albeit a bit over priced. I recommend the mussel appetizers which are served in a very yummy red sauce. But the sangria pitchers (we had two) were $36 each!
- Erinina NessApril 12, 2011Macadamia crusted bass, lemon chicken, Cuban beef, almost everything is amazing! The best tasting black beans on the planet, seriously! The only bad thing I've ever had here is the sausage appetizer
- Diane ChangJanuary 19, 2012Two of us shared the lechon asado (asked for salad instead of beans) and a side of corn fritters and yuca fries. Excellent!!!!!!! Best Cuban meal we've had!
- Friendly staff, good food, reliable happy hour, even with a modest beer selection. Also one of the classier, but still semi-casual places to eat on Vernon Boulevard.
- Jose TaverasDecember 16, 2014The food, the location, the live music and the atmosphere was really good. Will go again.
- Sofia ChristopoulosMarch 16, 2013Food is great! Romantic Cuban restaurant with live music. Definitely going back!
- Ms HeleneJune 7, 2016Dark inside. Friendly service. Weak sangria. Best tapas were grilled shrimp with mashed plaintains and mini cod cakes.
- AlyciaJanuary 18, 2012Corn fritters are delicious although the second time they tasted as though they were reheated in the microwave. But also try the skirt steak and the grandma's pork Chops.
- Diash RichardsSeptember 7, 2013Happy hour everyday, super cute romantic spot. Sangria is a must!!!!!
- Nate SOctober 11, 2014Come here on a date on Friday or Saturday nights- there's live music. The mojitos were perfect.
- HeatherSeptember 15, 2013Yuma fries with garlic oil so good! Beat Cuban sandwich ever !!!! and sub fries for salad salad so good!!!!!!
- One of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had! And the mojitos were on point.
- JenKuduJune 21, 2011The classic sangria is delicious and surprisingly potent! The pecan crusted bass is really good, ESP the crema sauce on it.
- "I'm a big fan of this place and I've only had the bread and a drink." -My friend Liz on her first visit
- Weekend long waits come early & stays open later durning weekends
- Brandi LeeApril 3, 2011The fried icecream is delicious and the staff was incredibly nice! also, order the Moro with your entree- sooooo good!
- The music is so lively and great I changed my plans to come here tonight. May buy a CD!
- Christopher CassettaAugust 8, 2014Great mojitos, skip the sangria. It's good, but too pricy for what you get.
- OdetteJune 15, 2014The skirt steak was over done when I asked for medium rare. Steak was hard with a lot of fat. The Moro was a small portion. The flan was tiny.
- The stewed shredded beef should def be in your try list.
