- Terena P.August 13, 2013Must have: octopus, pizza dough and chicken. All are grilled & to die for. The chicken is phenomenal. I'm extremely picky about chicken as it's often over cooked and it was prepared perfectly.
- Natalia MacrynikolaDecember 23, 2014The pork belly, though a bit too fatty, is amazing, as is the fish with the crisp fried scallions. Skip the pizza dough--it's just pita warmed up. Great for sharing with friends!
- Sarah ArnoldFebruary 23, 2014Great dishes for sharing. Get the brussels sprouts, beef brisket, and pork belly. And now you can pay with Cover here! (Esp. if you want to use Amex or multiple cards)
- Sandra RubinchikJune 20, 2016The burger absolutely stands up to the hype, and I'm pretty sure the pork belly is seasoned with magic pixie dust.
- MariOctober 12, 2014A little untraditional with 2 thin patties, goat cheese, pickles and caramelized onions, this is one of my favorite burgers.
- Tasting TableAugust 2, 2012Don't miss the tomatoes. The genius chef-owners of this new spot drown Jersey tomatoes in a warm butter. And the rest of the smart, wide-reaching menu of small plates is equally inspired: Read more
- Tashana StewartJanuary 10, 2015Overall amazing food. Get the octopus, pork chop, chicken, pizza dough and beef tongue (special). Lamb belly and bone marrow was just okay.
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014Lulu & Po serves shareable dishes like fried anchovies with Sriracha-spiked tartar sauce and iron-pressed chicken in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Read more
- Ben K.August 17, 2015Great little place with delicious dishes to share. Try the pizza dough, octopus, chicken, bone marrow tacos.
- Matt LaszukMay 21, 2015Octopus, pizza dough, burger, chicken, tacos, and any seasonal vegetables are winners here. Great cocktails as well.
- Village VoiceSeptember 4, 2012Don’t let the name scare you; Chef Matthew Hamilton’s bone marrow tacos are unusually satisfying. #44 on our 100 Dishes to Eat Now
- Ray LinApril 15, 2014The dishes are for sharing. Gotta try the bone marrow tacos, and the charred chili brussels sprouts are heaven.
- Lulu & PoMarch 20, 2015Please vote for us. We are up for best burger. Thanks

- Santi AmayaSeptember 22, 2015Very cozy spot for a romantic date. The food is good, the drinks are good. You can't go wrong!
- Danyel SmithMarch 5, 2013chix-liver mousse, trout w/crispy scallions, fries, chix I think cooked with an iron. all excellent. + lightly sweetened apple crisp. #yum
- The food is still innovative and delicious 3 years dining here. With that said, some days can be hit or miss (ie scallions in the burnt scallion fish TOO burnt). Hopefully just a phase though.
- Stuart AdlerMay 19, 2016Expensive small plates restaurant. Very delicious dishes and great atmosphere in this small cozy spot.
- Everything. Order everything. There isn't a dish less than excellent on the menu.
- Brian KarfunkelJanuary 19, 2015Good but everything was very rich, even the Brussels sprouts (which were deep fried). So we couldn't finish half of what we ordered, for fear of gout.
- CompassApril 25, 2014Order the bone-marrow tacos and wash them down with a one of their signature cocktails.
- Jason FeirmanOctober 17, 2014bone marrow tacos, heirloom tomatoes with peaches and mozz , fireside chicken
- Tom WahlinFebruary 22, 2014Horseradish infused vodka is a must. Want to split the check or use Amex? Pay with Cover.
- James SkidmoreNovember 1, 2013In general I like the place, but it's grotesquely overrated and obscenely overpriced. A solid neighborhood option if you aren't averse to overpaying for proximity, but not a destination.
- MariDecember 5, 2015I retract my previous tip about the burger. It's evolved since my original tip and I'm not a fan. Double patties are too thick and too much pickle. Also no sesame bun anymore.
- Emma PelznerNovember 4, 2012Delicious pizza dough and other small plates, but avoid the much lauded bone marrow tacos, which i found greasy and bland
- Michael DempseyJune 5, 2013Overpriced, under-portioned, and lackluster food. If you want small plates in Brooklyn done right, go to Traif. If for some reason you do go, do not get the bone marrow tacos, they are flavorless.
