The JetBlue terminal has a board w/ menus for all eateries, so you can decide where to go before schlepping up and down the terminal. Or try the long work bar w/ free WiFi. Read more

If you are taking a cab into Manhattan, there is a flat rate of $45 from JFK to any point in Manhattan. Tolls and tip are extra, as are a $0.50 (50 cent) surcharge for using the trunk space.

Big and busy airport. Make a reservation for a town car with driver it's cheaper then a taxiride to the city

Get to a Xpress Spa if you're waiting for a transfer. Stress massage or neck and back massage to rub those air miles away and do the last stretch of your journey in top shape.

The airport is tolerable if you get here 3 hours before your flight with no sense of rush of the lines will make you lose your mind.

Somewhat efficient airport given its size. Long customs lines can be nightmarish if you’re a foreigner. JetBlue terminal has a nice layout and decent food options. Convenient access through Air Train.

The queues before heading through the security searches can quite often be a bit intimidating and time consuming. Leave plenty time for this major obstacle.

Picking up passengers at JFK? Make a plan so that they give you a call when they've picked up their luggage. Park, at no charge, at the Cell Phone Lot. It's only about 4 minutes from all terminals!

If flying Delta to LAX, LHR and SFO, check in at Terminal 2 with the Business Elite, First/Business Class, and Medallion people. Better than elbowing with the masses at Terminal 3.
