Brittany SanchezJuly 31, 2013If you're stuck over night, they will kick you out of all terminals except 1 and 4. If you get hungry or thirsty head over to terminal 5 for some Dunkin doughnuts.
Heading to Manhattan? Take the Airporter shuttle service to Penn Station or Grand Central for $16 and get there in an hour
flyin virgin? if you've got some time, hit the restaurants (read: bars) before security... (there's nothin but peete's and newsstands til 11am at the gates!

If you're flying out of Term 2/3 on Delta, check in at Terminal 2. Much less hectic than the what you'll find at the Term 3 kiosks.

It takes like an hour wait to get to the gate when arriving from international. So be ready for the wait.
AirTrain Costs $5 per ride, collected at Jamaica or Howard Bay station.

Crazy line ups, not sure if they cancelled it or it was just a night measure, they blocked access to most electronic custom clearance kiosks when I arrived.

DeanOctober 13, 2010Round trip bus to Grand Central on NYAS is only $27. Give the driver a few bucks for a tip. Definitely the easiest way to Mid-Town.
Traveling to Asia? Stay clear of Air China. Absolutely the worst inflight movies and TV shows. Food is sparse, alcohol runs out quick. Stewardesses aren't too shabby though and are quite friendly
Fly JetBlue so you can experience T5, the best terminal, oh and use @TripIt when you travel for crying out loud
There is No Dunkin Donuts in terminal 8! That's very dissappointing.- Fly Air France, you'll get access to the best lounge around.

Avoid the DELTA arrival terminal...why is it so small!? People keep Rollin over my feet with their damn spinners!! A positive is that the baggage claim and air train are really close to the gate(s).
