Lacy HadenApril 5, 2013Didn't stay at the Hotel but stayed in town. Walked around Hotel Colorado! Loved the history! Walk all the way upstairs to see all the famous assigned rooms!Upvoted Sep 29
HISTORYSeptember 20, 2010The Hotel Colorado opened in 1893 to a program including a fireworks display, an orchestra in the ballroom and dining at midnight. This hotel was designed to replicate the Villa de Medici.
If you don't want to pay for the breakfast buffet, hit up the coffee/muffin shop on the west side of the lobby. Cereals, oatmeal, breakfast burritos... Affordable!
Sarah KingJuly 10, 2014Im happy to report I had a nice hot shower in this morning. true theres no ac, but not as bad as expected. might be only bcI was sleeping solo! Keep that in mind if you plan on doing a summer visit!
