- Time Out New YorkJune 19, 2013Dan Ross-Leutwyler puts an international spin on the mid-20th-century luncheonette. The tasty and affordable plates leave you with more than enough bills for a rich, buttery slice of banana-cream pie. Read more
- Emily GrossApril 25, 2013One of NYC's best burgers, try it & be amazed. Such a little gem of a spot, and really nice staff. Would like to keep this place my little secret, but it's just that good that I had to share. Enjoy!
- David RosenbergMarch 28, 2014Can't decide between the storied cheeseburger and the fried chicken sandwich? Come with a friend and get both obviously! And don't forget to 'box them with collards and fries.
- Umair ZiaSeptember 28, 2014The iced coffee here rules. The burger is so good (Paula Dean level rich and buttery, minus the racism) and the chicken burger is decent. Shrimp/corn fritters worth it too.
- Nate SAugust 10, 2014Ordering the burger is a no-brainer (it's probably why you're here anyway), but skip the fries and go with the potato salad. Oh, and order a slice of pie (lovingly made at Wburg's Pies n Thighs).
- Get the burger & a side bcs it's small. If you order fried chix sandwich ask for house pickles & hot sauce, which make it work. Dumplings are absolutely lovely but a small portion. Banana pie ftw.

- Village VoiceSeptember 12, 2013You have to try the classic cheeseburger with the charred miso aioli. It is a one of a kind sauce that you do not want to pass up!
- The burger and fries are awesome. Order it medium, it's soft and juicy, never overcooked. Medium rare is like, red. Potatoe salad is more german style, not creamy. Side salad is tasty and salty.
- Nick ReischAugust 23, 2013Such a great hamburger and really nice outdoor area. Also had the beer battered cauliflowers; loved the hot sauce with the ginger.

- Ray LinJuly 7, 2013The best burger in Brooklyn. Yeah, you heard me. The sesame bun is perfect. Fun fact: Owned by former Vinegar Hill House chef.

- Rebecca SutterSeptember 27, 2013Burger, you were fine. Server, judging by your inability to take an order and your infrequent appearances, I wasn't sure if you worked here or just showed up off the street hoping for tips.
