- Jessi @2feet1worldFebruary 23, 2015Fantastic Sunday roast - sharing plate was a hugely generous portion of perfectly cooked beef and sides. Great vibe and good service too.
- Emily-janeApril 4, 2019Lovely pub hidden down a residential street in Islington. Great food, especially the sharing Sunday roasts! Defo book if you're a big group. Good beer and wine selection. Kid and dog friendly.
- Ali MNovember 4, 2018The lamb shoulder sharer was exquisite. They're great staff, willing to accommodate and great selection of wines. Doesn't have the pretense of Pig & Butcher.
- Excellent gastropub grub with efficient & friendly service. The small courtyard garden is a great place for a pre-meal drink.
- Amazing fresh food. The menu changes every day depending the products they have. The waitress are so friendly and explain all you need to know about the dishes. Call to reservate, it's full on dinner.
- Natalia QuinteroMarch 19, 2016The British gastro-pub fare. The beer and ales selection is on point. Old wooden tables, checkerboard floors, and board games. Penguin paperbacks drives the cozy vibe home.
- Great gastro pub with daily menus, good ales & wines. Plus professional and friendly service. Weekday lunch is often quiet
- Nice pub with great food. Not a lot of beer varieties but the ones they have, are great. Don't miss the little garden at the back
- Amy RobertsonMarch 12, 2016Both a great neighborhood feel and gastropub level quality food that beat most London pubs. Worth going off the beaten path
- Cyndie Da RochaJuly 21, 2019Good selection of beers, lovely courtyard. Staff is the lowlight here, unnecessarily condescending and haughty.
- Justine B.August 28, 2014Nice pub with charming dining room, the food is good and the menu changes regularly. The negative point is the staff is not friendly.
- Go for the meat dishes, especially those for two or more!
- Rachel RothJanuary 6, 2018Quality pub food, with an option for vegetarians. The rhubarb crumble was especially great!
- Good Pub Guide .June 30, 2010Under new owners and refurbished throughout, a good mix of drinkers and diners, thoughtful choice of beers, wines and imaginative modern food, and seats in attractive back garden Read more
- Simon NashSeptember 7, 2012Four letter words still get points at scrabble! Don't be shy share you food and trust the house wine :-)
- Nelson CorreiaJuly 26, 2014Good choice of beers, but beware of their half pints: the glasses are really a third of a pint, but they'll charge you half.
- Treat yourself with a burger on Saturday lunch. It's unique!
- AnikaDecember 3, 2014Curt staff. The food looked good, but on noticing the staff vibe we decided not to eat here. Many other great places in the area.
- EmeraldStreetJuly 12, 2011The menu changes daily and the food is simply executed, yet excellent. Read more
- Imogen PelhamApril 18, 2012Really great selection of hot and cold bar food if you're a bit peckish but not enough to justify the quite pricey mains.
- Kate GomesJuly 22, 2015Strangely empty on a Friday night. Nice atmosphere, pretty good drinks list but small expensive food portions
