- Homemade pasta plus homemade sauce equals ecstasy. I picked pappardelle with pomodoro (and a bottle of Pinot Noir, of course) but you can't make a mistake here.
- Matt BDecember 25, 2014The penne alla vodka is surprisingly good (and cheaper than what you'd get at most Italian restaurants in NYC). If you're willing to shell out cash for an awesome drink, go for the Franklin Flower.
- Jisu PJune 28, 2014Perfect place for brunch! There are cute outdoor tables in the back. The staff is ridiculously nice and very attentive. I got the spinach, goat cheese and roasted garlic frittata and it was perfect.
- Their homemade pasta is always delicious. Their panna cotta is better than their tiramisu. The sorbet serving size is gigantic. Nice wine selection. Good to take visiting family and out of town guests
- Emma QueryApril 14, 2015Cozy atmosphere, great food, perfect spot for a date. I got the penne a la vodka and our group split a bottle of red wine. This place is amazing, don't hesitate to go here if you can.
- Renz PeeJune 26, 2015The food was really good and service was also great. The ambience of the place was very easy going . Nice for a date. I would return over and over and over again lol
- Come for dinner, skip the brunch. Grandma's ragu or squid linguini. Start off with the Brooklyn seasonal on tap, sautéed calamari and some pate crostini. Sit at the front, it's much cooler.
- Emily WilsonFebruary 19, 2016A cute neighborhood Italian joint that's a good—but by no means spectacular—option if you're craving pasta.
- Carolina EspinosaDecember 5, 2013The Spaghetti al Limone is incredible! Add the veggies to it and it's even better. You won't be disappointed whether you get the homemade version pasta or the pre-packaged pasta version :)
- Desi VelazquezJuly 13, 2018Great food! The ravioli in vodka sauce is delicious. Best vodka sauce I've ever had. Food came out fast. Only downside is that the service is super crappy.
- Hannah EllsworthJuly 8, 2014Awesome happy hour, delicious drinks, and extremelyyyy friendly and considerate staff. Waiter even asked us at 5 mins to the end of happy hour if we wanted anything else before the deals ended.
- Steve LeVineJuly 17, 2017Very fresh caprese salad. Spinach tagliatelle Alfredo with grilled chicken was awesome. Tiramisu is a perfect example of what it should be.
- EmBeeAugust 4, 2013Absolutely incredible. Get the fresh buffalo mozzarella, tomato, basil antipasti. It's like NSA sexy-time. All pasta is fresh and the sauces slow-cooked. Tiramisu was delicious.
- Daniel FilsonNovember 17, 2013Pasta over cooked...sauce was very flat.It was cheap but for similar price go over the road and have a great pizza at barbonchino. If you want great amazing italian for an even better price go 2 Otto
- Elena ParkerOctober 11, 2015The paper plane goes down like bourbon candy. Also solid Kale Caesar and Pasta A Limone
- Marc MayerJune 1, 2015The handmade pasta is so good that it has healing capabilities. It cured my limp and added two points to my IQ.
- Molly PrunkaMarch 30, 2014The absolute best sautéed calamari I've ever had. Everything is delicious here - been for brunch and dinner. Very full, very happy :)
- James G.February 25, 2014Grab the wild mushroom frittatas to start out with. Then treat yourself to some thick stuffed and deep fried french toast. That's right it's deep fried! It's so delicious.
- Jarel HillFebruary 9, 2020Grilled cheese was bomb. Tomato soup is just marinara sauce. Ravioli w burratta butter and sage was good to share
- Ashley RudolphJune 7, 2015Love brunch and dinner here. The wild boar and lamb ragu sauce over their handmade pastas are delicious!
- Finley Bomer-LawsonNovember 9, 2015I'm obsessed with this place. Great atmosphere, great staff, AMAZING hand-made pastas. Surprisingly affordable.
- Kosha ShahDecember 14, 2014Such a cozy place! Didn't go for good, had drinks at the bar! Bartender is super nice! Try the martini with blue cheese olives
- The regular pasta is not vegan, but the gluten-free pasta (which is excellent) is. Also, surprisingly, the pesto is vegan!
- LOOOOOOVE this place. Opened 2 months ago, menu is amazing. I'll definitely be back again sometime this week for another dinner.
- Gabriel HayesJune 4, 2015Love the black linguini (made with fresh squid ink pasta & calamari in a spicy tomato sauce).
- Bruno ZalumJanuary 20, 2014As a wise waiter told us "there's life before Grandma's Ragu, and then there's life after." I can probably say the same about the sautéed calamari and the fennel alla parmigiana. #impeccable
- Leah HammerschlagOctober 21, 2015Great pasta, loved the vodka sauce and al limone. Don't think you can go wrong with anything.
- Super tasty brunch! Coffee is nice and strong. Mushroom frittata yummy and shrimp BLT knocked my socks off.
- Nathan S.April 16, 2014Rotisserie Chicken is a win. Crisp skin, moist meat, great sauce and mashed potatoes. So good.
- Tara DîanaJanuary 19, 2015Gorgeous atmosphere and delicious brunch!!! I got baked eggs pomodoro...an Italian shakshuka.
- Joanna FlammJanuary 18, 2015Really professional service. The tartines at brunch are quite large and the bread is nice and crunchy.
- Beril EsenJuly 24, 2015Their bread was stale. Not much of a taste difference between the butternut squash and potato gnocchi. Black linguini with seafood is a winner, but if you want homemade pasta, order the pappardelle.
- Rachel DieselMay 23, 2014Hands down the best Italian food I've ever had. Everything on the menu is amazing.
- Kimberly SusanAugust 11, 2014Amazing Italian, try their home cooked pasta & sauces! Also, brunch is pretty great!
- Lovely outdoor space. Nice selection of pastas and sauces.
- William WatsonJuly 3, 2013The patio out back is great! The staff is very friendly and attentive and the food is excellent.
- The owner is a sweetheart! Definitely don't miss Grandma's Ragu with the homemade pappardelle.
- absolutely delicious food. the butternut squash gnocchi is to die for
- Katherine BellApril 17, 2016food is very well priced and the menu is diverse. service is hit or miss though. cute patio and bar seating
- Sandra RubinchikOctober 8, 2017The pastas are hefty portions so don't overdo it with the apps. (Or do. Life is short.)
- Niels MadanApril 1, 2017This place is awful. I for the first time sent a dish back-only to get a worse one! The ragu isn't a real ragu. It was more like Campbell's soup w a couple meat chunks. Butter sage was unrecognizable
- violet davenportJuly 13, 2014The apple tarte with vanilla gelato was the right amount of everything!
