- S PMay 24, 2016Great place for tasty, fresh and well prepared Vietnamese (some creative license taken in authenticity). From the pho to the papaya or mango salad, and the rolls, all good.
- Dylan LoweSeptember 18, 2012Vietnamese food brought to the realms of finer dining – and nothing short of sublime. Beautifully executed bowls of pho, plus small sharing dishes. Oh, and best cha gio pork spring rolls in Soho.
- Jessica LindeawesomeJune 7, 2015Try the rice noodle rolls, they are amazing. Pho is alright for London standards. Also try the rice vermicelli with bbq pork, yum!
- S PNovember 8, 2017Very good Vietnamese food, from the morning glory, to the crab/pork rolls, and the pho... Delish and the lunch menu offers very good value
- Just as good as the original Old Street restaurant only in a funkier location, with brand new interiors and now also accepting Amex. Vietnamese flavour at its best!
- Bethany ChanJuly 19, 2016Best viet restaurant in town - very filling lunch set for 10 quid! Pho and curry butterfish are 👌🏻👌🏻
- Roshni BajajAugust 21, 2013Beautiful broth. Try the Saigon satay pho and the four mushroom pho side by side to cover a huge spectrum of flavour.
- Very happy everytime I visit Cay Tre. Friendly staff, freshly cooked food, taste good. 👌🏻
- Mark McGinlayMay 11, 2011Very early days at the new Cay Tre but great food-recommend mackerel summer rolls, squid is good, so is octopus and the beef papaya salad washed down with some hanoi beer or the excellent house white
- Jonathan NguyenDecember 30, 2014Order the classic pho. Whilst it is no Pho Pasteur (Saigon) the depth of flavour is much better than the Pho Cafe chain. Does not come with the requisite bowl of herbs and sprouts though.
- AnastasiaJune 28, 2015They have a great music playlist but you won't be able to appreciate it cause the place is extremely noisy most of the time. The food is good though, especially the pho.
- Josh TaroliJanuary 25, 2017Try the small Banh Cuon (5,50£) as a starter - good taste, fun experience and enough for two
- One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in London — Hanoi Garlicky pho is always a good choice for a cold London evening!
- Tried frogs legs for starter - v good. Soft crab curry - tastey but v hot spice - ox cheek pho - amazingly tender meat with liight lemongrass soup - v tastey if slightly large chunks of meat
- clive kornitzerAugust 31, 2018The prawn spring rolls were light , the grilled aubergine had a interesting taste.. the chicken spicy noodles were tasty and filling ... nothing stands out
- Parents said its the best place outside of Vietnam to get food. Trust me, they're from Vietnam and are foodie professionals.
- ChaseJune 21, 2016Ridiculously long wait--far longer than promised. Saigon sate pho was good, loved the thick/creamy peanut sauce. Good cocktails too
- David CharltonFebruary 17, 2016Incredible pho. Everything delicious. Must try the salt and pepper squid.
- Di KadyrovaFebruary 25, 2018Get the lunch menu: for £12 you’ll have a full bowl of pho and a starter. Pho is amazing
- S PJune 11, 2018Nice food, varied menu of Vietnamese essentials and good service; what's not to like!
- The Special Large Combo does not disappoint in both size and taste! I will definitely come back.
- Claudio WeeraratneApril 4, 2016Lovely lamb curry with aubergine and okra. Also the egg fried rice is really tasty.
- Jack GillettSeptember 2, 2014Hanoi Garlicky beef pho is delicious and should be a staple in most people's lives.
- Marc MSeptember 6, 2014Really great place for casual dining. Don't just stick to the noodles, other menu choices are pretty good too.
- Valentina CiolinoFebruary 5, 2015Their special Rice noodle rolls are not to be missed. Don't be shy and get the large portion.
- Dean ChiangOctober 11, 2015Oxford cheek Pho is a must however...found a metal thing(looks like from the brush) in their noodle once...Cocktails aren't that great
- Marco SousaAugust 7, 2014Noisy but still good for a date. Recommend trying the mackerel on a banana leaf, amazing fish.
- Josh TaroliJanuary 25, 2017Hanoi Garlicky Pho (11,50£) all the way - one of the best meals I had in London!
- Alexandra MaJune 9, 2015Great Vietnamese food! Get the rice paper rolls to share. Awesome atmosphere too.
- ChrissieMarch 14, 2015Decided to try here again in a week and I was a bit disappointed to find massive fish bones in my butter fish coconut curry. The service isn't as good as the one in Shoreditch.
- JulesOctober 2, 2017Food is good but the restaurant is soooo packed, be prepared to share your table huh
- Reliably good Vietnamese food. The Pho is pretty good, and the vermicelli salads do the trick.
- Awesome classic pho, probably best in central London. Most dishes are pretty good.
- Nathaniel MeyersJanuary 28, 2016Aubergine & Okra Curry and the Catfish claypot were delicious, but front of house disorganised and very expensive
- Wing Kew LeungFebruary 10, 2015Nice broth with the pho. Crispy spring roll. Perhaps not the most authentic but tasty enough!
- Masha FleurusFebruary 25, 2019Cha la lot starter was delicious, and pork bbq was nice, but soups and noodle dishes were plain.
- Pooja VirSeptember 16, 2011Grilled aubergine starter absolutely stunning. And you won't regret ordering the Mahi Mahi fish curry
- The mushroom pho: Skinny and delicious! You will become an addict!
