- SezFebruary 10, 2015Cascal overall has amazing food. We tried the shortrib, scallop ceviche, and of course the cascal paella and everything was delicious and fresh. Definitely try the jalapeño margarita as well! A+!
- Evan JohnsonAugust 7, 2014Great date place. Food is a bit expensive, but it is Mountain View so it is to be expected. Overall worth it if you are looking for a romantic evening and willing to spend some money.
- Mike WinstonJune 17, 2014Solid tapas joint. Lots of great dishes, but don't miss the Scallop Ceviche, Roasted Chile Relleno, Lamb Chops, Beef Short Rib Adobo, & Braised Pork Belly. Read all about it on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
- In order to get the happy hour prices you have to stay in the too small happy hour holding pen inside, which is HOT if it's above 70 outside. Open up the patio for HH Cascal!
- Order your paella first, then nosh on tapas while you're waitingUpvoted Sep 23
- Tripti BurmanJanuary 31, 2015Absolutely loved the food. For vegetarians, potato gratin and corn poblano saute are the best. Loved the banana leaf chicken too. Though the sparkling wine sangria was average.
- Soumyadeep GhoshalApril 21, 2019Definitely get the shrimp sizzlers, wild mushroom empanadas, banana leaf chicken, lamp chops. Brussel sprouts was a bit disappointing.
- Kate BoykoNovember 14, 2016Great service and delicious tapas! We took tasting plate and it was brought for two of us. Would love to come back and try their paella too :)
- Jay MarJanuary 7, 2018Exceptional place for sangria and cocktails! Food...not that good; tapas style, lacks flavor - bland; amazing staff: very quick and pleasantly helpful!
- My all time favorite! Chorizo and garbanzo beans, mushroom empanadas, banana leaf chicken and mutton meatballs. Of course the sangria and paella. 🍚🍹🍷
- Lheyla EscobarJune 10, 2013Try the Spanish tortilla and Hearts of Palm salad. Fresh and deliciuos ! And don't forget to leave a good tip, they deserve it ! ❤
- Mariianne CraryApril 16, 2018Fantastic menu. Tres leches dessert absolutely my favorite dessert. Open all day. Love this place. Nice music. Friendly staff.
- At this time, this is the best place for happy hour in Mountain View. All the happy hour food selections are great, and they make good margaritas here.
- At first glance, the sangria looks Manhattan-level expensive, but it's worth getting. Wicked good, and they don't overload the pitcher with ice, so you get your money's worth. Pork belly delicious too
- Eduardo GodinhoFebruary 10, 2017Latin place in the area! Very good atmosphere (loudly) with Latin music. Food is typical and wine list is good
- Guilherme ChapiewskiDecember 8, 2013Deserts look incredible, but they are just average. You can see the Spanish Flan on the left picture and Caramelized Pecan Cheesecake on the right. They look way much better than they taste.
- a-rosNovember 3, 2015Best Tapas in the last 175 years! Go for the Tapas sampler, definitely no regrets!
- Kirk FortinAugust 13, 2015Great dancing even though the floor is kind of small. Awesome bartenders and bar back too. Try the Mojito's. Byron behind the bar is CAF
- Johnny AnglesonFebruary 12, 2016The sangria is good, and the paella was excellent. There was a wonderful band playing live music on Friday night.
- Lori BerenbergAugust 15, 2014Amazing tapas. Great cheese plate, white fish, shrimp, and ahi tuna. Beautiful decor.
- Good restaurant, nice food... but if you go Friday or Saturday it's really noisy, very loud Mexican music... I could not stay!Weekdays it always better!
- Meghana DharMarch 4, 2014Paella and sangria are specialties. Ceviche disappoints. Try the mushroom empanadas and ask for the habanero salsa!
- Fernando SerranoOctober 6, 2015OMG what a wonderful restaurant! I loved the "paella cascal" and their wine selection is decent.
- Cheryl ChangJuly 17, 2013Awesome outdoor area for a pitcher of sangria and paella. Can't beat summertime in mountain view! Avoid the ceviche...
- Jennifer EvansFebruary 11, 2015The place is packed so you might think the food is delicious. Great after work place for cocktails but tapas is just okay. Lamb was tough, flatbread was flavorless but liked the empanadas.
- Katherine LuJanuary 8, 2012All the paellas are delish! Be sure to try the tapas sampler if you can. The mushroom empanadas are TDF. Pork belly is good but portion way too small.
- William GunnOctober 27, 2015Nice pan-Latin place with a great patio & tasty sangria. More about ambiance than food.
- Paella Rustica, tapas sampler, red sangria and chicken liver tapa please
- Jason BaxterSeptember 2, 2014Paella and octopus salad were both great. A large paella is enough to split.
- JBenitezJanuary 19, 2015Had the Mexican Gorditas tapas this weekend. So good. Had to leave another tip here just for these. Do yourself a favor....
- Jyotshna KansakarNovember 23, 2013Lamb chops is the winner! I got them cooked medium and it was surprisingly very very good.
- Sreejita DebJuly 8, 2012Great happy hour spot- gets crowded over the weekend, come early to get a good spot. Live band after 8.
- Ronald WongSeptember 30, 2012The mussels are delicious! The tomato broth that they come in go really well with the bread too.
- Alaina CollinsJuly 27, 2013Delicious ceviche! The pallea is off the charts! And the mushroom empanadas are to dieee
- Sahil DesaiNovember 14, 2012The Beef Adobo is amazing. Actually made me go out of my way to leave a tip on here. Enjoy!
- Karolina 🦖May 13, 2016The food was OK, but the thing that I will be coming back for is raspberry virgin mojito! Perfect for the summer.
- MatthieuMay 26, 2018I would not call the place a true tapas place especially in terms of atmosphere. More a mall ambiance than Ramblas, if ambiance at all. Food and service decent, although not good enough to go back.
- I love the hearts of palm salad, still trying to figure out the coconut dressing
