- Carl IngberMarch 16, 2010Interesting fact, since Bogota has high elevation, you will experience a rough and fast landing. Plane will still be doing 3-400mph at 5-6k feet, its a little crazy.

- Get an uber to go to town. Yellow cabs are unsafe and the driver will surely try to rip you off if you are a foreigner
- Store your luggage on 1st floor for long delays and go see the town or just relax.

- TAXI to BOGOTA: do not take the taxi where the men are offering service. Stand in line outside. Cost is less and service is good. Cost range $5-12USD

- Food is overpriced at the few restaurants once you've passed through the emigration checkpoint. Try eating at the restaurants next to the airline check-in counters

- Copa Airlines has mobile boarding pass so you don't need to print it! Just show it in your cellphone!!!
