Decent airport. It’s a gamble to arrive 2-3 hours early because the baggage drop doesn’t always open within until about an hour before boarding. At least the Dunken Donuts is open at 2am

If you are departing from A gates, you can save time in line by going through security in B&C area. Walk through B&C to get to A.

Precheck is available here! Get Global Entry and speed through security for domestic flights (and speed through customs and immigration at qualifying airports when coming back to the US)!

Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!

Still the best airport in the DC-Baltimore area, but baggage claim and pick up traffic issues need to be addressed.

If you're a United flier, there's no club at this airport. Tough to find outlets and work space so grab one if you see it!

Your best bet from the airport is a cab for about $20 or hop on the Light Rail to Penn Station. Light rail trains leave every 30 minutes on Saturdays

The airport is nice enough, but rental cars are offsite and renters are required to ride (at least sometimes) an extremely overcrowded shuttle bus to the rental facility.

If you're unfamiliar with the area, use Super Shuttle. Way cheaper than a cab, and they drop you off at the door of your destination. Downstairs by door 9.

One of the easiest airports to fly in and out of. Security moves ok but if you go to the security line down a level near baggage claim there is hardly ever a wait. And they now have a Chipotle!
