- Keith PittMarch 10, 2015Amazing on the inside. If you're an atheist and don't want to be giving cash to the religion, the entrance fee goes to maintaining it as a historical site. The guided tours are fun and are worth it.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Ish RaiAugust 13, 2017Beautiful church inside and out - definitely a must to see. Compared to all of the decorative churches from around Europe. Always a queue but it moves fast. Landmark scenicUpvoted 5 days ago
- Dominic BullJuly 21, 2013Undercroft refurb is well worth a visit and is included in general admission. Great views from the top of the tower (up 280+ steps) although it's an extra £5 on the standard admission price.
- One of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals in the world. The best way to appreciate it is to come to Mass or Choral Evensong - just ask the guides for times.

- Mik UnknownJanuary 22, 2018Years I been back and too. To York Minster I got some very old images I took of the 1984 fire when lightening hit the roof. It was sad to see all the damage done that day. Well worth money to view it

- Andrew BainesMay 31, 2012Go on one of the night tours - well worth it to see the bits that are normally closed. Go for the earlier trip if you want to hear Big Peter ring.
- Pippa WinterburnJune 28, 2011After the Minster, check out the church next door - St Michael le Belfrey - built originally as a chapel for the Minster builders. It's free entry and still a functioning church - lovely atmosphere.
