Open and trendy space, but it's the flavor-packed food that will bring me back. The MFC Biscuit Sandwich is transcendental: Moroccan fried chicken, carrot/lemon preserve salad and a spicyfeta spread!
They started out with the yum yum bowls and now everything is yum yum. Awesome food with decent beer and wine options. Passion fruitcarrot cake is pretty amazing if u can get it.
It's got all the truck favorites, from yum yum rice bowl to the epic MFC biscuit sandwich (Moroccan fried chicken on a biscuit) in a lively atmosphere that's open late for a snack. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
So you're asking, what should I get for brunch? Everything is delicious, but the South Side and the SausageBiscuitSandwich (think Mexican Eggs Benedict) are the best!
Standouts include the red curry chicken Bangkok burrito, the MFC biscuit sandwich (a Moroccan take on KFC), the lemongrassmeatball lettuce wraps, and the awesomely complex aloo tikki chat. Read more
Try the aloo tikkachaat -- the dish appears simple, like a samosa filling turned out onto a plate, but incorporates potatoes, dal, garam masala, limeyogurt, and fried sev (a chickpea flour noodle). Read more
If you're here during brunch (Sat-Sun til 3) get the sausagebiscuitsandwich. If you're not here during brunch, come back next weekend. This thing is incredible.
The Fried ShrimpPo' Boy with lots of hot sauce is damn good. Huge too. Try it with one of their cool drinkconcoctions, like Grain Belt Bitters or SakeGingerCarrot Juice.
The flavors in the tofurice bowl were too much. I had to stop eating it. They should call it a rice bowel instead because now I'm pooping. I will try the tacos next time, IF THERE IS A NEXT TIME.
The "twenty dollar" steak sandwich is divine (it's not really $20). And of course, their salted caramel ice cream. Just go and eat here. You'll love it.
If you like lamb, get the lamb belly! It's Pretty good. Kimchee wasn't all that great. Ice cream was awesome! Other than that, food overall is ok. I've had better real Asian rice bowls.
We feature a seasonal menu presented in a fun way: street style. While the truck is stored for the winter, visit our restaurant in Uptown at Lyndale and 28th St.
