BEST hip hop/funk music on Thursday nights in the basement. Diverse crowd. Classy decor. I've only got love for this place. If you're looking to dance, look no place else.- Super chill spot, if you're with friends try grab the big table in the back room and talk the night away.
I can’t say enough great things about this place. Be generous with your tips, these are great people.

Always a great place to go. always a more same stop when you're friends drag you too NYU bars 3 blocks east. The no cover for the dancing is a plus
Every 2nd Tuesday of the month check out DJ Esquire and Tim Martell at Beats, Rhymes, and Nightlife downstairs. You won't regret it.

Really fun if you're with a small group (5-7) and want to dance. Go downstairs for more of a club atmosphere and upstairs to relax more
Great place to chill on a week night. Decent wine selection and always fresh lilies on the bar. Has meat market tendencies, however. This can be good or bad, pending how frisky you're feeling.

the fam parties on thursdays are always consistent for great music, drinks are reasonably priced, great bartenders!

Constance, the bartender downstairs, is a sweetheart. Be sure to order a perfect Guinness from her and tip her well!
