Gorgeous space inside though it’s small. One of the floors was closed when we came. The price is steep for how small it is. The cafe terrace is amazing though!

I love how well curated their exhibits are. In each case, they tell the importance of the art, and when possible, they show Canadian artists currently working with the same aesthetic.
At $24 for adult admission, the most expensiveart gallery I know. But they have great shows, often focusing on local talent. No permanent collection on display.

Take in an exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery, followed by drinks at the charming GalleryCafé. The Café’sdesserts are divine and the atmosphere is seemingly European.
Too expensive, and not too big museum. You can pay-as-you-want mondays 5 to 9 pm but expect at least 2 hours on the queue, the regular admission cost more than CAD24
