One of our go-to lunch places in Powerplant. Definitely value-for-money Japanese food. What's good? Zaifu Gyoza. Chirashi. Teishoku Meal Sets. Don meal sets. :)
Great Gyudon & Sashimi just don't order ramen so you won't get disappointed. Try ordering the crispytuna salad to satisfy ur taste coz its good! You have to ask for it because it's not in the menu!!!
You'll make a wrong choice if you order any of their ramens. Zaifu Gyoza is the best tasting gyoza in the metro. It comes with a cream cheese inside! :)
Beef ramen a consistent favorite here. First time to encounter though, the gyoza was served well done; gyoza wrapper was crunchy like lumpiang shanghai
Their teppanyaki tables are the attraction here. Watch the chef cook in front of you while you wait. They're also a tiny bit more expensive than isshin.
The Gyudon was good, tender & tasty. Gyoza was okay. Shoyu & ChashuRamennoodles weren't al-dente & the Chasu lacked fat. The Yakitori was all right but the sauce was off. Not impressed, sorry.
I now remember why we hadn't gone back to this place - ramen is not good; the prawns in the teppanyaki were not cleaned; the plating was just unappetizingly done.
Poor man's Japanese restaurant with a Powerplant price tag. Gyoza doesn't even come with a dipping sauce. Stay away and just find a Tokyo Tokyo somewhere.
After a tasteless meal, I suggest they close or improve by getting the cooks from Ishin. Truely disappointing :( Tokyo Tokyo is way better than this. Do not waste youre time here.
