The meat-centric menu will mostly delight carnivores. And there is plenty to be delighted by: bison tartare, Angus short ribs, dry-aged ribeyes. Order the roasted bone marrow. [Eater 38 Member]

Try the omakase style ordering if you want an amazing food experience. We got to try dishes we wouldn’t have ordered and they were all amazing. The chocolate rigatoni was unique and so delicious!

Get a cocktail off their old fashioned menu and order the omakase for dinner- chef’s picks, all delicious. Our faves were the charcuterie plate, bone marrow, and the steak. Pickled herring too!

Omakase is the way to go. The server picks a selection of dishes from the menu based on your likes and dislikes. No need to think; just enjoy the food and cocktails!

Lois Lake Steelhead Trout with clams + sauce = perfect taste palate! The Beef Cheek is amazingly soft with great smoked flavor but would've been better hot than warm. Great service in the dining area

Loved everything about this place. Service, wine, cocktails, and food all AMAZING. We had the pork belly, foie gras, sweetbreads, duck rillets...had to roll home totally blissed out from all the yum.

Restaurant had an awesome menu and atmosphere. As a note, all menu items are intended for sharing so some plates you'll have to order double of. All menu items are amazing but the poutine was unreal.

We had happy hour here and everything was delish!!! The cornbread was fabulously, the brisket was the bomb. Small portions but delicious. Here you get quality food.

Service and ambiance are always great.. but the portions are small-ish and prices are steep, which would be ok at a really fancy place with amazing food.. but the food is good, not amazing.

This place is amazing. Great ambiance and bar staff. Ask for the specials... I had an amazing mackerel dish. Try the Uppercut cocktail!

The sweetbreads are amazing! And for the non-Vancouverite, it is not a dessert but a savory, soft meat that is divine! The bone marrow was disappointing, hardly anything there and burnt at the ends.

Love their take on Japanese chawanmushi - made with dungeness crab, salmon caviar and croutons. The short rib and halibut were also delicious.

Definitely review the list of cocktails - helps guide you through what you should order (fresh or bold, etc) and when (pre or during dinner).

Wildebeest didn't meet my high expectations. Portions are tiny for the price and the quality is low. It was salty, super fried and fatty. They don't even try to make the dessert look presentable.

snobby yet everything is half-cooked & ill plated / "family style" aka you wait 45 minutes per dish / waitress eager to fill up your water because they're CHARGING you for it / over-priced over-hyped
