I am born and raised in Germany and the food was very authentic and just like you would get in Germany! Def recommend this place! I would recommend trying the sausage sampler and the beer taste sample

They make their own brats, cure their own meat (so don't ask for seafood here!) Get the sausage sampler or the Reuben. Also - the beer flight is a Must

If you are in the area on a wednesday morning at 11:00 DO NOT pass up the opportunity to take the tour. IMO it is the best tour of any kind I have ever taken. Full of information!

We love the place! It's a microbrewery, so try the beers (OBX, Matbock, Ruddy Radish, Corolla Gold, Black Radish and Weizen), they're all wonderful! Reuben sandwich and the many Sausages were amazing!

beer is outstanding and the liverwurst and sausages are delicious. friendly staff, but doesn't know the meaning of service and therefore the owner's passion for quality, organic dishes is lost.

Uli Bennewitz owns this North Carolina's oldest microbrewery. Every product is organic and natural since they use reusable bottles and never use harmful pesticides. Original craft beer is worth a try.

Take the tour. The Owner gives a very enlightening & informative tour. Sample 3 beers along the way. Stay for lunch. Yum! Diners, Drive Ins & Dives filmed here.

Awesome burgers! The Lusty Monk mustard is super spicy and amazing! Don't forget to ask for curry ketchup, too!

The meat loaf is a must try here! I have never ate any meat loaf this good where it doesn't need any ketchup.

It's like eating lunch in Grand Central Station, loud and noisy. Not exactly my favorite place to eat. I do not believe I'll be going back.

Tour focused more on regulations than process of brewing/farming, but great beer and food.

Food was really good, beer was okay, service was not very good. Very, very slow and waitress didn't know anything about the beers. Honestly, it was just a bad waitress. Wouldn't go back.

Mediocre food. Mahi was cooked really well, only plus aside from lunch items being under $10. Sweet tea was $3, ridiculous! Also wouldn't leave bacon off the Cobb, had to choose something else. 2.5/5.
