The monkfish is gorgeous, the chips are perfect, but because the fish is so fresh the Wee Hurrie is very expensive. The spring rolls overpriced: £2.20 for one! A nice occasional treat. :)

If counter staff ask what you want & you reply "fish & chips" they by rights should be allowed to smack you about the face with a Monkfish! NB: Fish IS expensive, it's not the crap you buy at Tesco.

Really good fish and chips. Not the cheapest but it's definitely worth it.

Posh fish and chips! Great choice on menu, even 3 styles of chicken. Cold and windy queuing outside tho!

Very highly rated but had ran out of cod and mushy peas. Very slow service and too expensive. Nice haddock and chips but nothing to get excited about especially at the price.
