Very friendly and smart second-floor river-view novelistic place with an open kitchen. Always full of extraordinary people and groups, my favourite place to have fast delicious lunch in Dublin.
Portions are very generous, seafood chowder was good as was the mussels and clams. Partner had the smoked haddock which she loved. Topped off with the rhubarbdesert which was a the perfect way to end
Its an awesome place. Very nice food, kind and fast waitresses.I recommend the seafood chowder, the crabtart, also the steak, the lamb and the fantastic scallops with the black pudding.
Amazing food and environment. Sadly, too much stressed waiters that rest charm to the experience. I recommend Marinated seafood delicious starter, 28 days beef as main course and pear-ginger dessert.
Solid restaurant with fun lively feel. Fish chowder is very hearty, good to start and can be a meal in itself. Fish is ok, not bad at all but not amazing
Amazing!! The food, the drinks, the staff, the ambience and the view. So impressed. We highly recommend the mead and ginger spritz, mulled wine, veal starter and mussels, cockles and crab main.
Incredibly thoughtful and friendly service. For starters try the crab or the scallops. All the seafood tastes so fresh that I'd definitely recommend picking those over the steaks or duck for mains.
Get the seafood chowder. I was blown away by the flavor and the amount of seafood. Start off with the crab dip and you will be all set. One of the best meals I've had outside the USA.
The best traditional Irish menu in Dublin plus the best service. Get any of the fish dishes and dress light because it is cozy and hot. Don't forget to ask for a table by the window!!
Crave Irish seafood? Try the mussels here. They're amazing and comes dipped in chowder. Generous portion size. May seem expensive but being upscale, its worth spending money here!
The mussels were amazing. They come with a taste of chowder, so you need not order the Irish chowder separately. Generous portions, club the mains with a good wine and a dessert to end with!
The best of Irish cooking and ingredients. Nav a window seat. Exceptional seafood, but the meat dishes are equally sublime. Good wine menu. One of my favourite Irish institutions!
The wine and food were excellent. Husband found server to be slightly pretentious and continues to refer to it as the pretentious place. I thought it was wonderful and what a view!
Very good food & wine selection. It was very busy with few staff, so service was patchy but friendly. Had the seafood platter & chips. Excellent. All dishes come in large portions. Be warned!
Impeccable food. The seafood chowder was smokey and full of flavor, the pieces of salmon melted in my mouth. Make reservations because the dining room is tiny and always bustling!
Amazing crab claws! But if you want to go book! The whole menu looks and sounds amazing. I think whoever scripts the m&s adds is in on wording the menus.. You just want everything!!!
Scallops with blood pudding and potato pancake steals the show, nearly as much as the phenomenal bread and butter pudding. Dublin's best restaurant cannot be beat.
The pear &gingerbreaddessert looked to die for.Didn't have it myself, but my friend did, and I think I'll come back here just to try it! Lovely place, gr8 view and location, good food and nice staff!
Good service. Good wine list. Limited seafood selection. If overcooked seafood or fish that has been whipped into something like a mousse, then this place is for you.
