I'm very partial, but this is the greatest spot on the greatest college campus in the world!
Upvote1Downvote- There are two, count 'em, TWO stops in the Mizzou Audio Tour on the Quad. You can listen to insider info about Francis Quadrangle (2#) or the Columns (3#) by dialing 573-629-1364.

- Did you know... During the Civil War, MU was used by the Union as a guardhouse, housing Confederate prisoners. Memorial Gateway (at the entrance to the Quad) was created in honor of those who fought.Upvote3Downvote
- As tribute to former Missouri governor David R. Francis, his statue stands just left of the doors to Jesse Hall. It is said that when a student rubs his nose, they’ll get an “A” on their next exam!Upvote3Downvote
