Great for a basic, straightforward, and satisfying meal. Not flashy, renovated after Hurricane Sandy, and historic. Grandmother came here in the 1940s from Philadelphia with her college friends.
Fantastic service here, especially given a relatively young floor staff. Energetic, engaged, and vibrant. Food is fairly standard, but service wows every time.
They had an entire empty room and would not seat us. The owner said she'd check on it, but she was then spotted refilling straws behind the counter. Rude.
