Built in 1863, she is now a seaworthy museum ship at the San Diego Maritime Museum. She is the second oldest ship still sailing regularly & the oldest iron-hulled merchant ship still floating.
This ship was built in 1863 as a full-rigged iron windjammer named 'Euterpe'. In 1901 she was renamed 'Star of India' & re-rigged as a barque ship (three or more masts).
