Pretty good bak kut teh, worth a try. Free soup refills which is the standard in bak kut teh places. This is the clear, peppery Teochew version, not the dark brown, herbal Hokkien version.
Free refills of their peppery Bak Kut Tehsoup. One of the best you can find within the city. But it can be a little overcrowded with long queues during weekends due to its centralized location.
Is totally different with Malaysia Bak Kut Teh. Not all people can accept the taste. But pork ribs are nice to try! Also not expensive, around 10 SGD per person Can have a try when travel in SG!
Don’t miss this place if you love eating or wanna find Singaporean signature menu. Long queue definitely so don’t come when hungry. Pork ribs soup with Fried Chinese donut are a must to try.
Delicious bak kut teh (pork ribs in peppery broth). Groudnut side was exceptionally good. Free broth refills. Everything was very tasty, definitely worth a visit!
Very good system for dealing with long queues during peak hours. Very organized and no stress. Staff look happy and chirpy despite high crazy turnovers.
My first Bak Kut Teh in my life. It was absolutely delicious. I don't have another place to compare it to though.. Must try! They close on Mondays. I had the original but I will go back for premium
My shared table guy ordered every things as same as I did. He got angry when I got my dish first (He ordered before me). Thank for the professional staff who negotiate that angry guy for me.
(3.5/5) Get their basic (first) pork rib soup for the more tender meat. A white pepper "clear" broth that's a bit heavy-handed with the MSG, but tasty, and allows for unlimited broth refills.
The Premium Loin Ribs Soup is good when it is hot. The Braised Chicken fet with beancrd skin is tender but needs to go with the thick soy sauce and chilli. The salted vegetable is not very favoured.
One of the Best Bah Kut Teh,imo. I totally love their soup, and side dishes of deepfried doughsticks, peanuts & salted veggies! I've considered this as a gem among my fav foodhunts in town! :)
I like the bak kut teh here. The meat is tender and easy to chew. The soup is nice too. The kidney soup is also nice as the smell from the kidney are all removed.
feel that this is more for tourists than locals. there are better ones.. more pics and details at http://www.eatprayflying.com/bak-kut-teh-review-song-fa-new-bridge-road/
Just order a bowl of full rib instead of normal Bak Kut Teh. 3 pieces of ribful meat! And a small bowl of rice will do. Ask for refill of soup if the service boy did not come on to you autopilot!
This is not bak kut tehx the taste is more like black pepper soup, there is no herbal taste is the soup, if want to called it as black pepper soup, I give 8/10, if called as bak ku teh 1/10
