Location was the best. You can walk every location if you like. All bus and trams passing opposite side of the hotel. Try to book a room looking to dom and river.
The only reason this place is in this list: the ridiculously huge aquarium in the middle of the hotel. Worth to go into the lobby for it alone. You can also pay to go inside (look up AquaDom).
"Feed my soul", an excellent way to start your day. If breakfast is already included in your room rate, you only pay the 3 euro tray charge, which is awesome!
If you'd like to check out the fishes, you'll need to properly visit the friends of the sea entrance, outside the hotel. Alternatively you could just grab a drink at the bar and look up.
Nicely located hotel (near Alexanderplatz and Museeninsel). Highlight is its iconic indoor fish tank. However, for a 5 star hotel you'd expect a nicer bathroom and an iron in your room!
Great base for first timers. So much in walking distance, especially if you just turn right, right and let the Spree be your navigator to old Berlin and then the new. Top notch showers in the spa.
In the early morning of 16 December 2022 at approximately 5.45AM the aquarium of the Aquadom Berlin collapsed and the hotel is closed until further notice.
Nice, comfy, and getting drinks at the lobby is actually pretty ok. But aquarium enhances the mood a little. Not very crowded either. But hey, that's a hotel. Who cares.
