Arrr! One of the coolest rides ever! The Jack Sparrows look so real, it's quite scary. PS, TURN OFF YOUR FLASH WHEN TAKING PHOTOS. AND JUST SHUT UP DURING THE RIDE. JUST SHUT UP. Let the pirates sing.
Watch out for the Octopus that comes out on the right hand side of the boat in the large open water room. You will get wet when he splashes his tentacles!
People, please STOP using flashcameras! Be considerate of others and just enjoy the ride instead of taking mediocre pictures and ruining the ride for others. Thanks!
First half of the ride is a bit scary for the toddlers - darkness and skeletons and foreboding music. But it could be my fave in Magic Kingdom? This or Haunted Mansion.
They switched Davy Jones with Blackbeard for the new movie, and it's fun to look for the hiding Jack Sparrow throughout the ride. Make sure you sit in the front if possible, easier to hear everything.
A great ride and queue for a break from the heat! However, some young children may find the beginning scenes with the skeleton and cannons a little intense.
This highly demanded attraction from Disneyland almost didn't make it to Disney World. Though this may not be as good as the DL version, it is still one of the best themed areas in Adventureland. Read more
Warning! If your boat is weighted unevenly and you're on the side that's being weighed down in the front then prepare to get wet! Never ever gotten wet before on this ride, but this time I was SOAKED!
This ride requires you transfer to a manual wheelchair if you use an ECV so be sure to go with a companion if you can't push yourself. If it is a walk on and you can do it just walk
My husband and I took our 2 year old on it and she enjoyed it as well. There is a dip on the ride that we weren't aware of so I think there should be a warning when you have little ones.
A great ride for people of all ages (especially those who have seen the movies)! Be advised, there's some slightly "rough waters" at the very beginning.
An all time classic and popular but the line never seemed very long. Liked to finish my magic kingdom experience with "pirates" so to leave with a "dead men tell no tales" feeling.
Flashphotography is frowned upon for two reasons: it blinds fellow ride goers and results in poor quality photos. If you want to take pictures, be considerate and shut your flash off!
Just because you have a nice camera and money doesn't mean you can ruin the ride with your flash for the rest of us- we all paid the same amount to be here let us enjoy it too!
