Oh My God. Favorite pizza place for an honestly tasty pizza. A bit on the pricey side but the slices are big and it's so worth it. Try the all meat and pesto stick. Cash only, atm across the street.

Tied with a couple places for best pizza place in the region. Tied...not because Pieces isn't beter than all others, but because there are diferent styles of pizza. Outstanding pizza, good beers.

Came on weekend. No line. Ordered pesto, sun-dried tomato, feta and a pesto veggie. Both great. Great crust! Arrogant Bastard draft beer was a good complement. Friendly service.

This pizza is NYC-style, crispy outer crust (with cheese in it!) yet still foldable. Best pizza-by-the-slice I've found in Sacramento.

Pesto pepperoni, add garlic (optional). Not healthy but oh so good. Cash only -- there is a Chase ATM across the street.

Greasy goodness. Guaranteed to feel like a fatty when you're done. Not too bad but not the greatest. Definitely gotta try it once though if you haven't before.

Grab a slice of pieces when they aren't slammed (try a weekend afternoon), tip well, and follow the sage advice of the staff. Wash it all down with a cold cider.
