The Pho is good. The spring rolls are great, just have to get the right ones. A2-Goi Cuon Thit Nuong (Spring rolls with BBQ pork).I take my wife's word for it, she was born and raised in Vietnam.
The P1 combination lunch special. It's $9 and comes with a drink, an egg roll, spring roll or dumplings. It's good but costs a few bucks more than other places in Chinatown.
Best Vietnamese food in the greater Houston area! Grilled meat is excellent and nothing is over salty or saucy like other places. Hands down favorite place!
Used to frequent TanTan until we found out about this place. No MSG used here and you can taste the difference in the pho. They take pride in the food. Worth every cent. Pho and lemongrass pork rock.
Love the Pho Ga Kho, which translates to Dry Chicken. Its a bowl of noodles w/ a bowl of soup on the side. Fresh herbs & dry roasted onions with beautiful thin slices of chicken. No MSG!
The G7 vermicelli with grilled pork and fried spring roll is a good and relatively healthy meal for just $9. The banh / Vietnamese sandwiches are pricey by comparison at $6.
Thoughtfully packed to go orders blew me away. Banh mi box had a hole at the top to prevent moisture. Spring rolls individually wrapped in lettuce to prevent sticking. It's the details that count.
Had the no.16...it was good pho, but ive had better in my local area (katy)...the bowls were smaller and it was about 8 bucks more than my regular place pho saigon.
The banh mì is alright, but unjustifiably expensive compared to other places. Also I don't think the bread uses rice flour, so it just doesn't quite taste right.
This place is a dimond in the rough. Great food, service and prices. The only drawback is they don't accept debit cards if your bill is less than $10.00 It sucks for lunch!
