Who needs Manhattan? Take the G-train to Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, or even Coney Island (easy transfer at Church Avenue). Lots of fun stuff without the hassle.

Try to avoid any 230-3pm train that is going towards Court Sq. Packed with the kids from Brooklyn Tech. Kids are animals.

Don't be in rush. If you're lucky, the G train will get you where you need to go only a week after you need to get there.

Remember the train stops in the middle of the platform since they're running only four cars now!
