Mount Lemmon

There are a lot of great, obscure trails. The most popular is Marshal at the very top past the general store, there's a creek and it's gorgeous. There's some semi-decent beginner rock climbing too.

The Catalina Mountains are beautiful, and Mt. Lemmon has great camping, hiking, and a lake if you like to fish. Winter time means great skiing/snowboarding. Bears usually aren't around so it's safe.

Great ride up Mt. Lemmon... Lots of bikers and many beautiful views of Tucson and the mountain. Stopped for pie at The Iron Cafe @ Ski Valley.

Mount Lemmon is cool. No really cool. It can be 30°F cooler than Marana so it’s a great place to beat the heat. And shop. Summerhaven’s historic store is popular with most credit cards.

Great Arizona views. Lots of hiking trails and many picnic opportunities.

Lovely place. Bring a camera. Enough time. A picnic. And enjoy the outdoors. Sunset is must see from Windy Point.

A silence and serenity you can't find anywhere else.Take the trails, do a little climbing off the sides of the trails. The view is totally worth all the effort, plus you get a great workout!

Hard to find climbing approaches but the routes and crags are amazing and worth the hikes.

A great way to spend an afternoon! Experience all climates as you take this leisurely drive. Places to stop and take photos along the way, too!

This is a great place for a day hike and in the winter there is even great skiing!

It's like driving from Mexico to Canada in less than an hour. Pure beauty, peaceful, and full of adventure.

Miles and miles of mountain driving with tons of scenic stopping points for pictures.

So fun to drive up Mount Lemmon. Make sure to stop at Windy Point to get a great view of Tucson.

By car it is as high as you can go, and it is beautiful....

Can't wait till winter so Tip and I can take the dog up to play in the snow. Also I would love to try snow skiing....I never have! Yet......
