Less of a park and more of a landscaped, interactive sculpture, which makes sense when you think about Heatherwick’s Vessel. I look forward to the day when it’s merely crowded, rather than oppressive.
You can thank Ticketmasters outrageous fees for paying for this crowdedpark full of tourists. Barry Diller gives some crumbs back to the little people.
Being located right on the Hudson River, Little Island gives you excellent views of Manhattan and Jersey. The different walking paths & varied elevations make it so enjoyable to walk around & explore
A small park in New York that you can visit for free, it's a beautiful place, but nothing special, just the view of Manhattan, the garden and the different architecture.
pier 54 was the departure point for the lusitania's final voyage and the arrival point for the survivors of the titanic on the ship carpathia. so probably little island is haunted.
Viewed from shore, the island looks interesting, and there are great views from the island of New York Harbor and New Jersey, but the island itself is pretty underwhelming. Disappointing landscaping.
