Very simple dish: duck + rice. But so delicious. Don’t forget to try those souses. Yes, place a little bit dirty and you’ll seat at the table with 3 other people you don’t know but it worth it :)
They still became the world famous gourmet & they have their own factory for cooking roasted meat everyday to ensure the freshness & quality. Welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.
After trying many BBQ places, the pork here is my fav. Too crowded, no problem just get the meats and take home to eat with your own rice; it's a better value that way.
A hole-in-the-wall spot that serves up what many people consider the best char siu in HK. Their other dishes aren't as memorable. Check out Yat Lok instead. The roast goose there is a revelation.
I have been here twice and it seems like the roast pork they have some for regular customer and some for walk in. Bbq pork if you get half fat half meat is quite tasty.
The BBQ Pork quality had quite much gone down compared to a few years ago. Now just slightly better than those fast food restaurants, while back in 2012 it is of terrific quality.
If you're in a group of 5, order the ff: bbq pork, roast pork, peking duck, 5 bowls of rice and your choice of drinks. Will set you back around 250hkd only
not as good as expected, char Siupork was stone-hard, dry out. chicken look good & I love back of chicken, boney but tasty, but I can't taste anything here. only good thing is cheap, 30hkd no drink!
Joy Hing is synonymous with 'cha siu' - Cantonese barbecued pork. Be sure to order 'half fatty, half skinny' cha siu for the best cut: moist, not greasy, honeyed yet smoky.
